Cedar Retreats

Pros: The lodge was lovely, well maintained and very comfortable, we had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable and all the rooms were really spacious. We had a problem with the temperature of our hot tub and the maintenance guy was really helpful. Location was great, both village pubs were in walking distance and very nice, log fires and excellent food.

Amazing place to relax and celebrate

Pros: The hot tub was amazing, we all enjoyed it so much and the rooms were very spacious

Cons: We would’ve preferred 2 double rooms instead of 1 double and 1 single as we went as a group of 2 couples

Great Value Stay!

Pros: Cedar Retreats is a fantastic little escape just outside Ripon, offering great value and a wonderfully relaxing stay. The lodge had everything we needed and felt peaceful and cosy, with the added bonus of a hot tub — perfect for an early morning soak while watching the sunrise and the sheep in the nearby field. Set in a lovely village and just a short drive from town, it’s an ideal spot for a quiet break. We’d definitely recommend it and will certainly be back.

Cons: The hot tub could have done with water adding part way through the stay.

Great location, peaceful, relaxing and a great accommodation

Pros: The location, hot tub and the facilities in the cabin.

Cons: Check out time was a bit too early. No chance of a lie in on Sunday morning.

Cons: The amount of chlorine in the hot tub.

Pros: Location was lovely, quiet and easy to get to. Hot tub was fabulous. The property was clean. The staff on the welcome desk were super helpful.

Cons: I had trouble locking the patio doors and this made me anxious about the security of the property. There was no one in the office to raise my concerns with in the morning or evening.

Fabulous stay at the retreat, would definately recommend for a relaxing weekend away

Pros: Spacious lodges on lovely grounds, peaceful and homely. We stayed in the 2 bedroom lodge with the hot tub which was amazing! Very clean and comfortable. Has everything you need and finished to a very high standard.

Cons: We liked everything, nothing to complain about

Pros: Beautiful place. Quiet location. So nice to get away and relax

Cons: Would have jus liked a bit better view from back of lodge where hot tub was. Overall though I really can't complain

A perfect relaxing holiday break

Pros: A very picturesque place to visit. Fabulous facilities. Friendly staff. Size of accommodation we stayed in was perfect for 2 people . A very comfortable bed which you don't get when holidaying in hotels.
