we have stayed several times now and wouldn,t return if it wasn,t up to standard

Pros: The breakfast was excellent and we were very well attended to by the receptionist.

An excellent hotel for a short stay, welcoming, comfy and with a delicious breakfast on offer

Pros: Loved the smiles from the receptionist on duty when we arrived, such a lovely lady. Liked the room though thought it might have been a little larger. Liked the bathroom and the shower. Loved the comfortable bed. Loved the breakfast choice and quality of the food, freshly cooked to order.

Cons: Towels could have been better, Bath sheets rather than bath towels, most hotels of a lower category at least have bath sheets. Room seemed a little cramped, the bedside units and the lights perhaps could be smaller? Constructive comment not complaint.

Great service in beautiful setting

Pros: Beautiful setting, rooms and building modernised. Parking easy. Staff absolutely fantastic and very caring

Cons: Had to walk across to main pub for food and drinks. It was raining and I was a girl on my own……but only 2 min walk

FAB place, food lovely and a beautiful room.

Pros: The venue is beautiful, we were a bit surprised that its not to clear that the reurant for dinner is not onsite, but to be fair the pub, restaurant was beautiful and the food lovely.

Cons: Some members of staff my need a little training in etiquette, and understanding how to deal with guests at breakfast....

Lovely Hotel and great location

Pros: Lovely hotel and a great location - lots to see and do... I was there for work - but would return for sure and explore the local area more. The White Swan was excellent for food as was the fencegate pub opposite the hotel.

Pros: We loved the room, there was everything we could possibly want. All the staff were great, nothing was too much trouble. There was even an Xmas gift waiting for us on xmas morning, such a lovely touch. The fence gate lodge is perfectly placed for visiting our family in Fence.
