I would really recommend a stay here fabulous place to stay very picturesque location and the staff can’t do enough for

Pros: Old fashioned country pub The staff were all friendly and efficient There was a separate dining room for guests staying, with a lovely log fire Evening meal was excellent. I had a “full English” breakfast and it was perfect, the cook excelled themself! Can’t praise the hotel, staff, room and food enough Thank you to all

Cons: There was a green light on the ceiling that was on the whole time. We were unable to turn it off and it lit up the whole room and interfered with our sleep.

Pros: Amazing room, with a fabulous bathroom. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was varied and good quality. Loved the cosy fires throughout the pub and restaurant

Cons: The modern wardrobe wasn’t in keeping with the traditional decor. The carpet in the bedroom needed vacuuming more thoroughly. Would have expected bathrobes in this standard of accommodation and usb sockets for charging.

Pros: Beautiful cottage rooms lovely coordinated decorations. Room was warm and comfortable with everything you needed ..Staff were good and the breakfast was lovely.

Cons: The.bar was comfortable, but the prices of drinks were extortionate.: £18:for one pint of beer and a small port.
