A good night's stay

Pros: Check in was really easy - I did this online and collected the key from the bar inside the pub. The rooms are in a building behind the pub and the car park, so it was quiet. Lots of parking spaces and easy to get to the city centre. The room was spacious and clean, and had good facilities including tea/coffee, kettle and a small fridge. It had everything you needed for a good night's stay. The bed was also comfy. There is also a communal area with table, chairs etc.

Cons: Nothing!

Lovely British mini hotel

Pros: The building is quite authentic. Nice staff, good size of the room. It was very warm there. Everything was working properly. Good place to stay for a couple of nights. Pub is nice with food.

Great (quiet) room on the outskirts of York

Pros: Great location with loads of transport links into York centre. The room was large with a decent size bathroom. The check in is easy and we arrived about 1 hour early, but still got our key on arrival.

Cons: Rooms need a bit of attention (lino floor in bathroom was a bit bumpy, and some of the fixtures were a bit heath robinson). Overall though reasonable value for money.

Excellent, comfortable stay.

Pros: Location is perfect for The Rise venue. Stayed here before, which is a recommendation in itself. Friendly staff. Large comfortable room, away from main pub. Comfortable bed. Large car park. Will stay here again.

Spacious room

Pros: Easy check in, spacious room which was comfortable and quiet.

Cons: Room was a little tired looking but lovely for what we needed.

Great room and pub

Pros: All was fabulous , great location for a gig across the road, great pub food and a c9mfy, quiet nights sleep.

Cons: Great stay , only fault we found was the bath plug in room 3 was faulty so couldn't have a bath, but shower worked fine,so no huge problem.
