The loft at Mayfield

Ideal location.

Pros: It was modern..well thought out..very comfortable..perfect space ..comfy bed and sofa..and so light being up high with lots of window space. ..we loved it. Everything was there that we needed. No noise and parking was great too. It was so close to Harrogate centre..perfect location. We really enjoyed our stay.

Cons: The house as you approach looks run down and the entrance hall too ..which had a beautiful original tiled floor which was dirty and looked neglected. Also the stairs needed cleaning. So on entering we were wondering what we had come into BUT then you go into the loft and its a different world.. It maybe an ongoing process but just the small matter of cleaning the floor and stairs would make a difference. However don't let that put you off.

Lovely light apartment

Pros: Peaceful area but an easy walk to the town centre, permit parking nearby. A lovely light comfy apartment with everything we needed. Piers was very helpful & provided a lot of local info.

Cons: The only thing was that the door at the bottom of the stairs to the flat opens inwards - it makes it a bit awkward to get in while carrying things. But once inside, it's great!

Pros: Very clean flat, everything you needed. Easy location for getting about.

Cons: Lounge was cold heater and electric fire didn't seem to be working. A few more little things would be nice like toiletries and milk and biscuits.

Nice apartment, central to town, parking, very well appointed, would return.

Pros: Location good 8 minutes walk into the main town. Kitchen was very well equipped. Piers the host was very good at answering the phone with any questions instantly. Clean, modern, warm as a particularly cold for our 3 days. A parking permit was left in apartment which was extremely useful. Parking right out the door or just in the next road. Shower was good. You spend a long time in this cosy apartment as has everything you need. Down to all cleaning materials. Bedding and towels were provided.

Cons: Perhaps a re position/replacement of the key lock as awkward to get down very low to see the numbers as it was dark when we arrived. The mattress is to small for the bed base.

Good

Pros: it didn't matter that I arrived after I said I would. The heating was efficient in the bedroom ,hall and bathroom. the kitchen was modern and well appointed.The sofa and living room were very spacious.The bed was comfortable .

Cons: for me I had a challenge with the height of the key box and the stiffness of the lock itself-maybe me as I was arriving in the dark and rain so visibility was difficult and bending to see it whilst not kneeling on a damp floor was a challenge. Narrow turn on entrance to the flat when you have large bags.

Pros: Great location, lovely apartment, host easy to contact and very helpful 😊

A beautiful apartment with everything you need, including a small rooftop terrace.

Pros: Perfect for a stay in Harrogate. Just minutes from the station, the Theatre and town centre. Quiet and clean, bright (make sure you take an eyemask to save bright mornings waking you early) and airy. Wonderfully appointed with a lovely little rooftop terrace off the kitchen, perfect for coffee or a spot of lunch.

Liked it, would definitely stay again.

Pros: Very clean, bright and airy. Had all we needed and pleasant to be inside.

Cons: Bed too narrow for real comfort. Needed wider mattress, base was designed for a wider mattress. Some pillows needed replacing. Wooden spoon and serving spoon in cutlery drawer needed. Wider worktop on breakfast bar so knees fitted under.

It was like a home from home.

Pros: The local car parking pass was really useful. Very extensive accessories in all rooms. Very short walk to the centre of Harrogate.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Excellent… offered everything we needed to a very high standard

Pros: Location excellent for attending sporting fixtures.

Cons: All good
