My daughter, daughter in law, granddaughter & myself had an amazing time in York.

Pros: The location was ideal, quite close to the city centre & all amenities. The apartment had everything you need, exceptionally clean.

Cons: The only downside no hanging place for clothes in the back bedroom

Pros: Fantastic location inside the city walls and easy walking to beautiful restaurants and cafes. The apartment was more like a townhouse, over three floors plus a little outside courtyard that catches the evening sun. Beautiful quality towels and linens, comfy beds (the double is sleigh style and wouldn't suit a tall person) the kitchen was huge and two bathrooms meant no queues.

Cons: There was no storage for clothes in the front bedroom (not a problem for a couple of days but might be an issue if you had more luggage). There is handsoap in the bathrooms but no other toiletries so don't forget your shower gel/shampoo.

Apartment Location was quite central, close to Pubs and restaurants. Christmas Markets were good

Pros: Everything about it was great. They had put up a small Christmas tree and garland with lights in the lounge, which I thought was a lovey touch. We have stayed at various places for Christmas Markets and this was the very first property to do that. The beds were really comfortable, I have trouble sleeping when ever we go away, but I slept really well both nights. Having two on suite shower/Bathrooms was a god send. Meant we could get out quicker to explore, especially first thing in the morning.

Pros: Fully equipped, beautifully decorated apartment (we were in apt 1). Layed out over 3 floors there was a small courtyard off the lounge. On the entrance level was the kitchen/diner which contained dishwasher washing machine/dryer (clothes airer also provided). Upstairs were two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Plenty of towels china soap provided. Topped off by being a great location a couple of minutes walk to all attractions food and shops yet quiet at night. Perfect.

Cons: No car parking. There is a couple of car parks nearby and we paid a daily fee of about 16 pounds. We knew this in advance but you will want to add it to your cost. Still a 10 out of 10

Pros: Location was fantastic. Close to pubs, shops, attractions and train. Plenty of space. 2 large bedrooms with ensuites, next level well equipped kitchen with dining at the kitchen table, next level lounge and small courtyard. Easy to check in. Renovated but still charming. Clean, new bathrooms.

Cons: Wifi was so slow it was often unusable which we found frustrating. You need to be mobile enough to handle narrow, steep staircases !
