York weekend stay

Pros: Close to all amenities. Requests were answered promptly.

Cons: The apartment wasn't the cleanest.

Excellent accommodation. We would stay again!

Pros: Great central location. Spotlessly clean, well laid out furniture and lovey decor. Warm and welcoming. Easy entry with keysafe. Great communication from the hosts about entry and things we needed to know about the location and facilities at the property.

Pros: The property is located close to many things such as only being less than a 10min walk from the train station and it is only a short scenic walk into the city centre which is so ideal. The property is cute and cosy, the decor is stunning and is perfect for couples!

Cons: We had no issues at all during our stay so nothing to complain about.

Convenient and cosy

Pros: Impeccably clean, truly comfortable and, as a bonus, cute and cosy. The location is fantastic: central but very quiet. The flat was fully equipped, which makes it ideal for longer stays (I stayed in flat 3). I would definitely stay there again.

Cons: No shower toiletries, besides a small bar of soap. No instructions and/or provisions for left luggage.

Pros: The apartment was perfectly located in the centre of York, making it an ideal base throughout the stay. The interior design is fresh and stylish, and the bed was really comfortable. The apartment was cosy and great for a date.

Perfect stay - can’t fault anything

Pros: Beautifully decorated apartment, 5 mins from railway station and a short walk into York Centre. Second time we stayed here. Immaculately clean, we felt very safe and secure. Perfect for a long weekend or even a week.

Cons: Only problem we had was that the plates were in a high cupboard - not a problem if you’re taller than me 🤣🤣

Excellent city position.

Pros: The property had almost everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked with teabags and a coffee maker, Toaster, fridge and a washing machine. Is a 3 minute walk from the station. And close enough to the city centre that you can walk everywhere. Although a separate business, the Falcon Tap bar behind the rooms is a nice place for a nightcap, serving real ales and keg beers from Turning Point brewery.

Cons: The TV was almost impossible. It was extremely slow to respond to commands. The instructions in the welcome folder didn't work. We had to phone a friend to find out how to get live TV channels. I think it's because it is purely internet TV and it didn't help that I think the batteries in the remote were low. Only a tiny bar of soap provided in the bathroom. So make sure you have your own shampoo etc.
