Lovely, just some attention to detail, and I could say perfect.
Pros: Firstly, the location is perfect, right on Mickelgate, easy access to the rest of the city [all walking distance]. The apartment was seriously spacious for just two. And despite being above The Falcon pub, the noise wasn't too bad either, bearable and reasonable. The apartment also retained heat really well, good for the wintry months.
Cons: Well, the cleanliness was good, bar the cobwebbed corners and ceilings. But this is a period apartment, the ceilings are very high up. We were a bit disappointed by the supply of hygiene/cleaning products; we were there for a week and we were only supplied with 1 roll of loo roll, no kitchen paper, fairy liquid only [which means if you were messy on the electric stove you'd struggle a bit to clean - wouldn't want to leave a mess for the cleaners]. Only one bin liner, however, the liner was sufficient in size, the bin it was in was not. Again, well equipped with a washing machine, but no detergent if the need arose while staying [not recommending and entire supply of detergent but perhaps enough for a couple washes if guest require it].

Excellent apartment in a great location. Definitely recommend.
Pros: It’s a lovely apartment and very close to everything. Within easy walking distance to the station and you can walk to all the main historical sites with no problem. It has a well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area.
Cons: There were quite a few stairs to get to flat 10 which was hard with luggage.

Great stay. Very central apartment just a 5 minute walk front the train station.
Pros: Details of where to collect keys very straight forward. Very central apartment with everything you needed. Bag of goodies was a nice touch.
Cons: Bathroom a bit on the small side, however shower was good. Wash hand basin tiny, found it a bit awkward to use when brushing teeth as kept banging head on the mirrored shelves above. Glad my husband is tall as found bedroom blinds hard to reach to open/close using strings.

A really good place to stay in York.
Pros: Generally it was clean with a good kitchen, lots of space, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. It has an excellent location within the city walls and near to the railway station. The communication and information provided in advance by Stays York was first rate. It meant that we knew all about the apartment and what to do to check-in and out beforehand.
Cons: The bathroom sink is very small and with the shelf above, it made cleaning one's teeth challenging. A couple of the drawers were very dusty and grubby. Similarly, I lifted the sofa cushions as they had slid forward a little to discover a grubby mess down the sides. The cleaners should check and clean these areas occasionally. The toilet seat needs to be refitted in the correct position as it was not possible to lift the lid without touching the toilet bowl.

Spacious accommodation close to everything
Pros: Apartment is very large with separate living / dining, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Ceiling height is high so apartment feels very spacious. Very close to centre of York (easy walking distance).
Cons: Apartments needs a roasting pan (for oven use) and a few extra amenities (salt, pepper, oil). Vanity in bathroom is quite small.
