Friendly staff and had a great stay.

Pros: Fantastic location, 2 minutes walk to town square, very clean room with really comfy bed and pillows. Every thing catered for with amazing breakfast. Would use again. Highly recommended 👍.

Peaceful break in the heart of Knaresborough.

Pros: Amazing, warm and friendly Yorkshire welcome at this B&B. I enjoyed a cosy stay. Great nourishing home cooked breakfasts and friendly hosts. The bedroom was immaculately clean, hypoallergenic bedding and perfect location. A stones throw from local coffee shops, bakeries and beautiful views of Knaresborough. Highly recommend. Really appreciated the gluten free treats🙂

Nice break to visit Xmas markets in vicinity.

Pros: Cosy, welcoming and clean. Welcoming hosts and a well cooked breakfast too. Situated in a lovely town which we hadn’t visited before.

Cons: Nothing. Parking wasn’t an issue for us as lots of car parks in the vicinity and the town felt safe.

Enjoyed our stay at Kirkgate House and would recommend to friends

Pros: Location was excellent and very close to the centre. Room was comfortable and the fridge on the landing with complementary water and milk was a nice touch. The breakfast room was very cosy especially with the fire going on a cold morning. The breakfast was hot and well cooked and presented by very friendly staff.

Cons: 2 minor things 1. Lock on the door handle was temperamental 2. Would have liked a hook on the back of the door for wet coat.

Excellant, would highly recommand,

Pros: Very cosy and clean. The staff were alway’s available and friendly. The breakfast was lovely with locally purchased good’s which were very tasty. All in all a grand stay.

Cons: Parking, car park is some distance away and the walk in the rain was a pain.
