Pros: The hosts were really welcoming & knowledgeable. They were available but gave your own space & once in the attic area it felt like its own apartment. A beautiful property with a lovely homely feel. A delicious breakfast which you could eat in your leisure in your room. Central location, would highly recommend

Pros: Anita and John are the perfect hosts, always there to help when needed. The cottage is lovely, old and quaint and the loft room was amazing. Thanks for such a wonderful weekend.

Cottage with Character

Pros: A beautiful old cottage with loads of character. Anita and John were fantastic hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Great location. Large comfortable room. Easy walk to pubs, river and town.

Wonderful!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was brought to the room to enjoy in our own time. It was a lovely and fresh; berries, yogurt, toast, bagels, fresh orange juice, cereal... The hosts, John and Anita, were welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough. What a lovely couple...and little Bella, their dog, was so very cute.

Excellent 4 day stay at waterside cottage. John & Anita are lovely hosts. Nothing too much trouble

Pros: Fantastic hosts. Nothing too much trouble. Excellent location. Short walk to numerous pubs/restaurants and Knaresborough visitor spots. Breakfast not cooked but excellent served in room

Cons: Not a problem for us or Anita and John, but it is a small cottage so every time you go out or come in you are walking through their kitchen and living room. Stairs to room are steep and narrow

A little gem in Knaresborough

Pros: Beautiful cottage in a great location. Anita and John are great hosts and the top floor bedroom and ensuite is very comphy and a credit to them.

Relaxing and friendly.

Pros: The house was beautiful. The hosts Anita and John (plus Bella ) were very attentive,friendly and helpful. The attic room we stayed in was fully equipped with everything and breakfast was brought to the room the evening before. Fresh bread yoghurt fruit etc. The beds were very comfortable and cosy. Actually slept really well. My husband tho did bang his head a few times on the beams 🤣🤣 Overall it was a lovely time and we would totally recommend waterside cottage to anyone!!! It’s somewhere we would love to go back to x
