Rock View

This is an amazing find in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

Pros: The owner was so nice and helpful and gave us 5 star treatment. The location was incredible with beautiful views in a very quiet, safe village that was so picturesque. The breakfasts were amazing. In addition to a hot choice, there was toast and pastries with ample fruit and yogurt, bottled water, milk and orange juice in a mini fridge in the bedroom. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was fantastic! Definitely would recommend. There was a separate lounge for our own use with a log burner with no shortage of logs!

Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like. I would have liked a larger fridge, but it would have been too much for the bedroom.

Pros: We loved EVERYTHING about our stay at Rock View. The accommodation was out of this world. The breakfast brought to our room was superb and Joanne was so kind and welcoming. A beautiful house, with our own living room, and the most beautiful bathroom! Couldn't fault our stay and have already recommended it to other people!

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like at all. We loved it all.

Pros: Everything it was perfection.Steve the host was fantastic,helpful,kind,nothing was too much trouble.Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Relaxing, comfortable BRILLIANT.

Pros: So friendly and welcoming. Breakfast in the room was unusual but fun just sat listening to the birds. Suzy loved the slipper bath whilst i enjoyed the lovely lounge.

Cons: They did not have Scrabble BUT immediately when to borrow one from the neighbours - what service.

A beautiful relaxing property with great breakfasts and very welcoming hosts.

Pros: A beautifully decorated bedroom and stunning en-suite bathroom. Lovely idea to have separate private lounge although we didn’t use it this time. Great to have breakfast delivered to your room. Delicious breakfasts!!! Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.

Cons: Nothing. Great property.

Relaxing and peaceful.

Pros: Excellent location from which to tour Wensleydale and Swaledale having received good suggestions from the hostess.

Cons: Not a fan of breakfast in the bedroom, and from one's lap with an inadequate table.

A boutique to remember

Pros: There was a warm welcome from Joanne who showed us to our room which was tastefully decorated and furnished..The bathroom was just as amazing with a huge free standing bath..Our breakfast was served in our room which was delightful..All together we had a wonderful experience

Cons: Nothing to complain about.

Luxurious stay with fabulous hosts: a must visit!

Pros: Joanne and Steven could not have been more hospitable; they were both willing to do anything to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. They gave plenty of recommended routes for walks in the local area; great activities to avoid any threat of rain and some fabulous recommendations for restaurants. The room was stunning, super clean and just fabulous decor (we joked we’d be moving in!). Breakfast was absolutely delicious and we were not left wanting for more. Would love to return here as the hosts were wonderful and Rock View is set amongst some stunning locations and is a perfect base for exploring the Dales.
