A very peaceful, comfortable stay

Pros: The hosts were very friendly and did all they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was beautifully decorated with lovely views from the window over the fields. The breakfast was delicious with local produce and all you could eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Ellerton Lodge and would like to return before long.

Cons: The shower was a bit difficult to manage , which was explained to us so did not cause to much of a problem.

A fantastic short break in a stunning property with super hosts.

Pros: We were impressed by all aspects of our stay… from the warm welcome, the cake and drink and the facilities to the scenery and the helpful hosts and the attention to detail in all areas. We are experienced travellers and this is definitely one of the best b and b we have stayed in.

Beautiful, relaxing,

Pros: Shirley was a delightful host! She was friendly, helpful, and couldn’t do enough for us - without being intrusive. The room was spotless, and the view from the chairs in the bay window spectacularly good! Breakfast was also excellent. It was really easy to find, and so quiet too!

Pros: The accommodation was spacious and spotlessly clean with an amazing view. The breakfasts were everything you could wish for with plenty of choice. Shirley and Nigel couldn't have been more helpful without being intrusive.

Impressive sums up this B&B

Pros: From the initial greeting to our departure Shirley and Nigel were fantastic hosts. They were attentive and thoughtful but never in your face. Breakfast was excellent with an impressive range of choices. The accommodation was clean and spacious. Arranging for us to have a meal at a local pub after our long journey was much appreciated. They were also generous in sharing their lovely garden. Indeed this was probably the best B&B we have stayed in for years, if not ever
