Perfect space for couples

Pros: Lovely private space, generous selection of breakfast items. Hosts had thought of everything and were very helpful and communicative. Short distance from Northallerton and some lovely pubs in the area

Cons: Visit was perfect, can't fault anything

Pros: Lovely comfortable suite, ideally located for visiting Fountains Abbey and surrounding area. Thoughtfully laid out and great communication from the owners. A nice touch is the ample supplies provided for a continental breakfast and a couple of beers in the fridge!

Pros: The Hideaway was a cosy, comfortable place. Everything you could of needed. Lovely owners lived next-door. Would Certainly go back.

Gem of a place.

Pros: What was not to like, Angela and Mark have done fantastic with the lay out of this accommodation. It was clean well furnished and set in an ideal location. Although situated next to a main road the traffic is minimal. There is a small court yard to sit and relax and if you want there is a pub across the road that does food. The kitchenette area was well stocked with breakfast food along with milk, bread, juice and water. A decent size bathroom tops off this superb accommodation. The accommodation was ideal for our stay as the location was not far from the towns of thirsk and Northallerton. And if you like dogs, Mark and Angela have two boxers Spud and Stan, an extra treat for your stay.

Fabulous place for a short stay, fabulous breakfast, fabulous people

Pros: Easy to find if you follow instructions. Lovely hosts, felt like I'd known them for years. Amazing choice for breakfast and a couple of bottles of beer. Very clean and tidy with sufficient amenities. We had a great nights sleep, the bed was so comfy as were the two chairs.

Cons: Nothing at all

A perfect place to relax and unwind!

Pros: The accomodation was perfect! The bed was so comfortable. The owners (who live next door) were super helpful, I called and asked if there was a microwave which there wasn't, but by the time we arrived, one had been put in the kitchen. When chatting to Mark on Saturday, we mentioned we were going to the pub over the road for tea- he went over and booked us a table. Very quiet location. On arrival day we sat outside in the cubby hole and had a cup of tea. Came away for a rest and definately got one.

Cons: Nothing to dislike at all.

Fantastic stay for 2 nights

Pros: Extremely clean property and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and two lounge chairs to sit in. An absolutely beautiful continental breakfast was supplied. Beers in the fridge were a lovely touch. We had dinner at the pub for the 2 nights, very enjoyable meals.

Cons: It was close to a road and we had a bit of noise when trucks went past but didn’t have difficulty sleeping.

Pros: Very cosy and clean. Lots of breakfast supplies. Good internet connection. Very quiet.

Cons: The electric shower is sufficient but not powerful.

Weekend break in a lovely quiet self contained flat.

Pros: Continental breakfast included in price. Quiet,private location. Clean and tidy.Instructions given via txt with all the information we needed.We didn't meet the owners, but they were only a phone call away of we needed anything. Which we didn't.

Cons: The only thing which is personal preference was a bath sheet instead of bath towel.

Brilliant host and definitely stay there again.

Pros: The host was brilliant throughout my stay and made me very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. The host went above and beyond to help when I could not get transport.
