West End Guest House

West End Guest House is a good location for anyone visiting Harrogate and Ripon

Pros: The room was very comfortable and warm considering it was pretty cold in N Yorks. West End Guest House was convenient for our purposes of the visit and was near the centre of the town where there are a good range of restaurants, shops and pubs. Emma and Mark were really friendly and attentive to our needs. So all good.

Cons: All was fine.

Pros: Very welcoming hosts, great location and, off street parking was an added bonus.

Pros: Good location for the town so you can walk into the centre. No cooked breakfast but very good continental breakfast so well set up for the day. Richmond is a fascinating place and good location to explore Swaledale and Wensleydale.

Cons: Not a problem for us but if you were less mobile there are potentially a lot of steps.

Pros: Mark and Emma are lovely friendly hosts. Extremely clean property and very tastefully done.

Cons: Bathroom slightly small.

Pleasant B&B that is convenient for Richmond town centre, and not too far from Croft Circuit

Pros: Owner Mark was very pleasant and accommodating. Good car parking facilities. Quiet location. Easy walk to the town square, with several eating places.

Cons: No dislikes. Shame about the lack of a cooked breakfast. This would have made my stay even better.

Comfortable with lovely hosts

Pros: Well placed for an easy 10 minute max walk into the centre of Richmond. Lots of walks nearby including easy access to walks 2 minutes from the house across fields etc.

Pros: Lovely couple at west end guest house ,clean and comfortable room, lovely location

Nice out of TC location

Pros: Great Hosts. Room small but comfortable. Nice continental breakfast. Good for parking albeit with a 15 min walk to the centre. Would definetely book again.

Very enjoyable. B&B in good position to walk into Richmond. Excellent hosts.

Pros: Breakfast was a choice of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit which was very good. I thought l would miss the cooked breakfast but l didn’t. Service was excellent but l would have preferred the time slot to be 9am finish but l understood why breakfast ended at 8.30. Our room was small but very well organised and had everything we needed. I did feel concerned about the three steps up to our en-suite bathroom, especially if you needed to get up in the night though they had put a grab rail by the door going in. Overall a very comfortable stay and would recommend to friends.

Cons: As l mentioned a bit later end to the breakfast time slot and the three steps up to the en-suite bathroom.
