NYE treat

Pros: This is an amazing property, when you approach it you can feel the history. Once inside you get a real feel for how it would of looked many years ago. The communication before our visit was great, with lots of information.

Cons: Not much really there was the odd cobweb, but what do you expect in such an old property so close to nature.

A very interesting, historical building with marvellous features, and very peaceful.

Pros: The location was perfect for visiting my dad. The host was very contactable and helpful, including my endless questions about coffee machines. The living areas were lovely and warm, the TV was super easy to operate. We loved the real fire. It was lovely and peaceful.

Cons: A pint of milk in the fridge on arrival would make life easier. The kitchen was really cold, and the bathrooms were also cold. More towels would be good - and bigger ones would be great.

Stunning place

Pros: All of it! Absolutely stunning place and perfect for the very relaxed weekend us girls wanted

Great venue for family gathering and stay

Pros: So much space and great time was had when we had a multi generational meet up and stay, it truly was a home away from home

Had a fantastic stay at New Hall.

Pros: Had everything we needed for a great stay. Well equipped and plenty of space for us. Had some lovely alfresco food and drink taking advantage of the great weather.

Cons: A little tricky to find but suspect our satnav was partly to blame!

Night over for a gig at the piece hall

Pros: Amazing place and milk in the fridge! Short taxi ride to Halifax to watch Supergrass! Master suite was lovely as was the adjoining bedroom.

Pros: Friendly welcome, fabulous history and location. Very atmospheric!!

Wonderful stay in an incredible historic house

Pros: Incredible historic property with all modern amenities.

Beautiful and ideal for Piece Hall

Pros: Beautiful building steeped in history, fantastic location and great facilities. We were even invited to see another part of the building which was just stunning

Pros: Wow an amazing property We had a great stay ….. Host greeted us and even gave us a tour of the whole of the property We were stunned by the heritage and history of New Hall - we were especially wowed by the Banqueting hall … indeed the time spent by the host sharing their very personal experience of growing up in New Hall was really appreciated We stayed in one section as we were only a party of 4 - this was restored and decorated in keeping with its history and tradition but was also restored to a high standard reflected in the very modern kitchen and en suite / bathroom areas. A definite preference for us when we visit this area again A real gem x
