Visit if you want to get away from the world with beautiful scenery and views, walks on the doorstep

Pros: The cottage is absolutely beautiful, in a remote location within the moors about 15-20 mins from Hebden Bridge. Lovely views. Lovely bedrooms and lounge. Fully kitted out kitchen and utensils, towels, duvets, some logs for the fire and underfloor heating. Plus the addition of a large hot tub! (Only use the bubbles function and you won't accidentally switch the heating function off!)

Cons: No negatives, we had a little hiccup with the outside lights making it difficult to see the steps but the housekeeper quickly came and fixed the issue (blown fuse)

A stay that felt genuinely special — warm, peaceful and full of little touches that made it magical.

Pros: We’ve had such a lovely stay. The house feels like a warm hug at every turn, with so many thoughtful touches. The kids were thrilled to find the jar of chocolates, and I loved that there was even an apron in the kitchen. Small things, but they made a big difference. Everything has been thought through so carefully. It’s peaceful, beautifully presented and has everything you could possibly need. The hot tub and nature on the doorstep were the icing on the cake. My friend and I are both juggling work and motherhood, and this was just the break we needed. Time to breathe, laugh and rest. They even fitted a new router while we were there — nothing was too much trouble. We did manage to turn the hot tub off by mistake, but our host was so kind and understanding. The history of the house and family adds such a special feeling. We felt part of something quite magical. We’d come back in a heartbeat. Our only regret is not booking another night!

Cons: No

We had a fantastic time and felt very at home. The host went above and beyond provided wine, milk, juice, bread, cereals

Pros: Absolutely stunning views, incredibly cosy cottage. Loved the under floor heating and double sided wood burning. The hot tub was fabulous too.
