Everything is very nice, the problem was just heating

Pros: The lodge was very beautiful and clean. There was everything that you might need. The Jacuzzi was also very clean and nice.

Cons: However there was no central heating, and some electric radiators didn't even work, so that was a bit disappointing, as you pay so much money and it was cold in the mornings until we lit the fireplace. We couldn't sleep in the double room as the radiator was not working in the room and it was freezing. We slept in the little twin room as there at least the radiator was working and it was warm.

Gorgeous stay in peaceful scenic nature

Pros: The location, the lodge, the design, the views, the layout, the hot tub, the surrounding area. All gorgeous.

Cons: The beds were the one and only let down as there were no king-size or even double beds, just single beds pushed together, with single duvet covers on top. Not ideal for romantic couples who want to snuggle and spoon! As the gap between the beds isn't the comfiest... Feel like they could at least provide a double duvet cover as seperate single covers proved annoying. Advise romantic couples bring their own big cosey fluffy throw to snuggle under (perhaps an extra the owner could consider providing?.... Especially for guests staying in autumn/winter)

Would definitely visit again. All negatives were only minor points.

Pros: Lovely setting and views from the property. Comfy beds. Nice and clean.

Cons: Could have done with extra seating in the living room. Large sofa but not enough for 6 people. Better lighting needed on outside of property down to room on ground floor. My parents (who are in their 70’s) were in that room and found it difficult to see the stairs if coming up or down after dark. Also had an issue with water not draining properly in the shower in the ground floor bedroom. We also felt the need for a few more glasses and mugs. There’s a dishwasher but we were constantly washing up because only 6 mugs and 6 glasses.
