Excellent lodges in great location.

Pros: Location and lodge were perfect. Situated close enough to a couple of small towns with good shopping for all your essentials and some big cities near by. Lodge was very clean and well appointed. Beds were the comfiest I have ever slept in. Hot tub was great after a busy day walking. Log burner was nice for the evenings and loving area was great for family socialising. Underfloor heating in all 3 bathrooms was great!

Cons: Some stagnant water in the ponds outside. Not much owners could do about this i suppose, but occasionally caught a whif of it while in hot tub. Didn't spoil the overall experience though.

Great Stay

Pros: Well equipped, beautiful lodge. Hot tub had been heated up ready for our arrival. We were also contacted to be shown how to use the facilities shortly after we arrived. The little things like having tea/coffee/milk there for us was greatly appreciated.

Great stay, nice, clean, modern, we'll be back for sure.

Pros: The place was nice and clean, spacious, lovely outside seating areas upstairs and downstairs, as we visited on a hot summers week it was lovely being able to sit outside wherever we were gathered. Facilities where good too. Nice bathrooms, good cooking areas. The area was nice too, felt nice and secluded from the world by a nice canal river and the scenery was great too. There was also a big Tesco and nice restaurants nearby which was very nice and only a few mins away by car.

Cons: The only thing that wasn't great was there was a stagnant pool of water close to the house and every now and again a pretty bad smell wafted over the house. But it wasn't that bad and you didn't notice it after a while.

Pros: It was wonderfully clean the staff were there to greet us and explain everything ie jacuzzi. It was not far from casa bar and restaurant easy to walk back from. Peaceful and quiet passing canal boats to wave to and converse
