Bijou Cottage in Brontë Country with Wood-burning Stove & Hot Tub Spa

Very cosy and made for a homely getaway in a lovely area!

Pros: Very quirky and cosy. The log burner and hot top were great touches which were great for getting home after a day out. The rustic interior and set up made for a quiet getaway which is just what we needed. Bed was also extremely comfortable.

Pros: The cottage was very cosy and full of charm and character. Everything was clean and tidy. The hot tub was a fabulous addition to our stay. We did not pay extra for the breakfast package but there was plenty of supplies in the kitchen to last us 3 days.

Cons: Noisey dogs next door, although I'm not sure if they are permanent residents. At least they did not bark the whole night, so we still slept well.

Gorgeous little cottage

Pros: We loved absolutely everything about this amazing little cottage! The pictures don't really show how lovely and charming it really is. The bed was so comfortable, the pillows and duvet felt super soft. Everything was just perfect! Loads of walks around to keep busy in a day, gorgeous views to admire in the evening.

Pros: Such a charming and cosy cottage, that exceeded our expectations. The hosts were lovely and helpful. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of great walks. The cottage was easy to get to by bus (and a bit of walking). But the next time we would bring headlights or a reflector for walking in the streets at night.

Pros: The exceptional ,attentive ,,generous service.The clean hot tub and relaxing location.

Cons: Making several trips downstairs iduring the night to use the bathroom . Also 3am wake up call from the Cockerell didn't fi d the earplugs till the last day

Pros: Lovely host, welcoming and friendly, had thought of everything we might need and more! Quirky cottage.. Loved the log burner, private outdoor space and super comfortable bed.

Cons: Sofa was a little uncomfortable, but lots of cushions helped.

Pros: I recently enjoyed a relaxing and memorable stay at the Bijou Cottage in the countryside, and I can’t recommend it enough. The cottage itself was beautifully presented—cosy, clean, and full of charm. It offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the highlights was the hot tub, which provided the ideal way to unwind while enjoying the peaceful rural surroundings. The wood-burning stove added to the cottage’s warm, inviting atmosphere, especially in the evenings. It made the whole experience feel even more homely and special. The setting was tranquil and picturesque, with lovely views and a real sense of privacy. It was a perfect base for countryside walks and reconnecting with nature. Overall, the Bijou Cottage delivered everything I was hoping for and more. It’s a lovely retreat that I would gladly return to and highly recommend to anyone looking for a cosy countryside getaway.

Cons: The only minor disappointment was that the listing mentioned welcome baskets, which we were looking forward to, but they weren’t provided during our stay.

Had an amazing stay in the cottage which was quirky, clean and comfortable.

Pros: The location was beautiful, peaceful with opportunities for scenic walks round the reservoir or longer walks to the Bronte falls and surrounding moorland. The cottage was amazing, especially the wood burning fire and exceptional kitchen facilities. The bed was comfy and the hot tub was amazing.
