It was a really lovely clean property close to everything

Pros: The key lock to the front entrance was jammed, we hadn't instructions to say there was another key lock situated to the sde of the property down an alleyway . We used this entrance when we were staying.

Cons: We had to pay a damaged deposit, which wasn't mentioned on the booking.com website

A great stay!

Pros: The cottage was clean, comfortable, well equipped and cosy in a great location. It was warm on arrival and very welcoming. Very tastefully decorated and spacious. Parking near to the door is a bonus.

Cons: The access is down a very bumpy track, which may be an issue for some. The cottage lacked a finishing personal touch, such as fresh milk or a bottle of prosecco for example, which we've enjoyed at other cottages. No salt in the salt cellar, no shower gel, for example which I would expect at a premium rental.

20 second walk to Main Street, very spacious house. Close to everything.

Pros: Very close to Main Street and very spacious. Lots of steps though in property so won’t Elbe ideal for very young children or people who struggle with steps.

Cons: Beds were overly comfy. Not my type of matress. Too firm.

Little gem in Howarth

Pros: Lovely cottage right in the middle of Howarth, lovely warm cottage, very quiet considering we were literally 50 yards away from the centre of the village excellent choice of restaurants

Cons: Pubs shut early 😄
