Fern House

Pros: Very well appointed and equipped property. Good Central location. Clean comfortable. Nice sofas. Warm

Pros: It was a lovely house, perfect location, nice garden, well stocked kitchen. The rooms were light and airy with amazing views from the front bedrooms.

Lovely lovely place but the timings need extending.

Pros: Excellent location, in the middle of a beautiful village with two pubs nearby! It was very well equipped and comfy with quality fixtures and furnishings. They had thought of everything to make it a home from home.

Cons: The late arrival time - 5 pm was too late but, more importantly, the early exit time of 9am. I have never stayed anywhere with such inhospitable timings. We were more or less on time to exit at 9 am after feeding all 11 of us and cleaning up when one of our party (in the rush) dropped and smashed a small glass. It was in our packing, the dishwasher, all over the kitchen floor… we thus exited late with cleaning ladies sat outside and neighbours telling us we needed to get out! Quite spoiled the end of the stay.

A super stay in a super village. Thank you.

Pros: This property is really big and in a brilliant village. It is as described and suitable for a large group with children to relax and have a lovely time. There is a lovely back garden and ample kitchen.

Cons: The check-out time though advertised is very early - especially when considering how late check in is. Be wary of this!

Sunshine in the Yorkshire Dales

Pros: The location in Kettlewell is great! Three decent pubs for eating and drinking and walks from, or close to Kettlewell. Fern House is spacious, very well equipped and has a nice outdoor area to relax in!

ok but disappointed with customer care service from Sykes Cottages

Pros: parking not good especially when all our guests arrived as there were 5 cars

Cons: the checkin time of 5pm was too late & the checkout time of 9am was ridiculously early!
