We loved our stay here and would happily come back

Pros: The property has lovely character, is in an excellent location, and is very spacious for a cottage. The beds were lovely and comfy and the property is beautifully decorated.

Cons: Nothing major, but the back rooms are a bit cold. Shaun has very thoughtfully provided heaters though. The kitchen floor is very cold - not a problem when wearing slippers though 🙂

Pros: Very very helpful owner, and lovely well prepared and cared for cottage. Well organised inside and with racehorses poking their heads out in the stables opposite a memorable stay

Pros: Beautiful quirky property, decorated with a Christmas tree Lots of extras, like bread & milk etc Fantastic!

Cons: The property was quirky with lots of little steps in between the rooms. This wasn’t a problem for us, but older/less able bodies would find it a struggle

Pros: The host went out of his way to ensure that we could celebrate our family Christmas as if we were at home. Extra Christmassy stuff..a beautiful tree, placemats and Christmas themed bedding. We had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this cottage and would love to visit again. Thank you!

Pros: The cottage was absolutely amazing,clean,comfy and was great location,lovely hosts to,was a phone call away and helped immediately,left us milk,coffee for a drink on arrival,couldn't wish more for anything else,would definitely stay there again 😊

Great cottage.

Pros: Great location on the edge of Middleham, close to the Gallops and Castle. Cottage is on different levels as with these converted buildings. Tastefully equipped and decorated throughout.The beds were super comfy. Kitchen was well equipped and nice to have the log burner available. They also supplied a travel cot, which was most helpful.

Pros: Great location with parking . Lovely holiday cottage with plenty of space for a family or group of friends.

Cons: Limited pans and cooking utensils, but who needs to cook when the chippy and Dante Arms do such great food 😊

Pros: Cute cottage. Lots of games including dart board. All bedrooms are a good size. Big kitchen. Plenty of parking space.

Cons: Honestly it was not clean. There were long brown hair everywhere. I had to hoover as soon as we got there.
