Pros: An overnight stay following an away match at nearby Leeds Tykes Rugby Club. We felt welcome, the food was good and filling and the ale well-kept (certainly the most important consideration when staying in a pub.) The room was clean and very spacious. Plenty of parking. A minor personal criticism but we found the mattress a bit hard, though that shouldn't be taken as a negative as others may prefer this. I'd say that overall we enjoyed our trip - despite the match result.... - but well played Tykes.

We had a lovely overnight stay and couldn’t fault it.

Pros: We very much liked the friendliness of staff, the restaurant, the food, the size of and facilities within our room.

Cons: I had asked a question on booking and didn’t receive a response until we arrived. I was also looking forward to a bath after a long drive but I hadn’t requested a room with a bath, so that was my own expectations and no fault of the venue. I just wished it had said shower only.

Nice place to stay, friendly staff and good food

Pros: Friendly staff, good size room, food in resturant is very good, location goo and easy to park. We have stayed here multiple times as we have family in the area and it’s one of the best available

Cons: Checking in can sometimes be a bit slow as not all staff can check you in Room was too hot for us, we had to turn our radiator off but that’s just personal preference.

Pros: Pleasant and extremely handy location for visiting family in Calverley

A lovey pub within a few miles of airport.

Pros: Lovely quaint pub with free parking. Easy to find and only a few miles from the airport.

Cons: Walls were very thin, felt like the people in the next room were in with us too!

Very comfortable, food was lovely but a little expensive.

Pros: The property was lovely. Even though there were only a few people there, it was a good ambience.

Great stay with warm and welcoming staff

Pros: Great location, good value for money and very clean. The room was warm and comfortable and staff were lovely.

Cons: This didn’t affect my stay, but the sound that would generate from people walking around the corridors, especially late at night or early morning did carry and as a light sleeper, the light from the corridors/ landing camping under the door did disturb me at times, but I would stay again
