1 Walkers Barn

Pros: Lovely place very clean and comfortable. Nice welcome treats which are a lovely touch we've been three times now and will continue to come in the future.

Great location, all you needed in a comfy, cosy small space

Pros: Great location, large kitchen table, quiet at night, comfy bed, having a bath was lovely. Was good to be able to come into the kitchen in dirty boots and the boot rack was really handy.

Cons: Minor quibbles, the kitchen knives were all steak knives, so nothing to spread butter with. Also the TV was in an awkward position to watch from the sofa. Otherwise all good.

Warm and snug just off the market place

Pros: A lovely little cottage converted from part of a barn some years ago. The decor was smart, comfortable and well looked after. Set just off the middle of Settle, Walkers Barn is a perfect spot to take advantage of this lovely little town. Local car parks are close by, including the towns EV charger (which is just minutes walk away). Welcomed to the cottage with milk, tea bags and some lovely local treats we felt right at home from the start. Great communication from the owner.

Cons: Set behind a couple of take aways the view from the lounge wasn't the best but we didn't intend on staying 'home' much so not a problem and in all honesty the owners of those businesses care about the area and take pride in keeping it clean and tidy. Huge appreciation to the chaps on Church Street for that ❤️. (Excessive comms from SYKES duplicated by BOOKING.COM (probably came thru about 5 times in the 3 or so weeks we had held the booking!!) and none of it was actually read as it just looked like a load of self-valuing crap... sort yourselves out Booking.com and Sykes.)

Very comfortable and a lovely atmosphere

Pros: Top quality fixtures and fittings decorated tastefully and quality finish.

Cons: Very tastefully design and presented to a high standard

Lovely cottage in central settle

Pros: Lovely cottage. Well equipped with everything needed. Tastefully designed, furnished, .and decorated . Superb location close to centre and shops restaurants and amenities. Close to settle rail station. Easy access to local walks and walks, etc, further afield by public transport . Nice fir car free holiday.

Cons: Nothing everything was fine. We were also very lucky with the weather.

Fantastic stay

Pros: We had a fantastic time at 1 Walkers Barn. The accommodation was lovely, clean, and in a great location. Charlotte was very welcoming. It was a perfect place to stay for our holiday. We would definitely rebook!

Pros: Cosy, clean, just right for a solo traveller or couple. Thank you for the milk and treats when I arrived. Location was perfect.

Cons: The skylight window in the bedroom - I couldn't figure out the remote so instructions would have been handy. I also felt a bit exposed in tge bathroom when I needed the light on. Blinds might be an idea. I am nit picking though. I loved the place.

Great stay!

Pros: Cosy, light and perfectly equipped for a short stay. Appreciated the bathtub option after a long day in the saddle tackling the Dales hills.
