Bay Horse Cottage

Pros: Thank you Nancy and Brendan for being such lovely friendly hosts. Your cottage was so warm and cosy and clean. The welcome pack was much appreciated and the eggs from your chickens were delicious. Sunshine and Sputnik the Alpacas were very cuddly and cute. The cottage was situated a few metres from the canal so there were lovely walks into the countryside or into Skipton..This was our first visit but will be back .

Fantastic little gem of a place. Definitely worth staying

Pros: Absolutely beautiful place, surrounded by fields. But only a few miles from Skipton town. The alpacas are always a joy & pepe the dog. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need. This is our 2nd visit & we will be coming again. The owners are so helpful & lovely too

Pros: Everything! Lovely cottage conversion with underfloor heating. Open fire available but it was warm enough not to use. Lovely position just outside Skipton but close enough for shops and eating out. The hosts live on site...working farm. Very approachable and keen to engage. Lovely alpacas and a donkey to pet and the bonus was a fabric business onsite. Absolutely wonderful welcome pack.

Cons: Floors slightly uneven upstairs....but its part of the character of the place.

Wonderful characterful self catering accommodatio centrally located for Airedale

Pros: We loved Bay Horse Cottage, the accommodation was great - full of character, really well appointed. The facilities were great - the best stocked self catering accommodation and the location was great - 5 minute drive from Skipton - perfect for Airedale. The hosts were really nice and friendly. A home away from home. We couldn't have asked for anything more or better. We loved it. We were even lucky with the weather.

Cons: Honestly can't think of a single thing.

So would recommend to anyone, it was the best break we have been away too yet.

Pros: The location was stunning, everything was top spec, and just simply amazing. There was even a manual on how to use everything and the nearest things to the property. The property was so quiet, even though we was located on a farm working by day, and next to a road. Everything was so clean and so easy to find, in such a big property.

Cons: There was very few things wrong, but the only thing we found as a couple travelling together was the fact the velux window shutters where broken, and we couldn’t open them for the remainder of our stay and some blinds didn’t re open when we tried to open them, but they are simple easy fixes.

Pros: The cottage was absolutely beautiful and was beyond expectations. The location of the cottage was lovely and only short car ride to Skipton. The hosts were also extremely kind and welcoming. Thank you also for the generous welcome hamper!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful part of the world

Pros: The hospitality from Nancy and Brendan was outstanding and the extra touches like the welcome treats and the provisions made all the difference. The location is perfect and such beautiful countryside. We were so happy with our stay and will definitely return.

Eine entspannte Woche auf dem Land mit der Möglichkeit viel zu erleben.

Pros: Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Der Blick aus dem Fenster auf die Tiere etwas Besonderes. Wir würden einen Aufenthalt hier jedem empfehlen!

Eine traumhafte Zeit auf einer außergewöhnlichen Farm

Pros: Wir waren schon mal dort, und aufgrund dessen, sind wir wieder hingefahren. Es ist eine wunderschöne Farm. Skipton ist 5 min. mit dem Auto entfernt. Central gelegen in den Yorkshire Dales. Die Gastgeber sind außergewöhnlich nett und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich dort sofort zuhause und willkommen. Es wird nicht das letzte Mal sein, dass ich dort hinfahren werde.
