Haworth Barn

A lovely house with amazing views! Perfect for a small group tackling the 3 peaks!

Pros: The house itself was stunning. Excellent location. Easy to find. And the owner was very helpful before the stay. We have an annual weekend with friends and this was perfect for us with 6 adults and 2 small children. Settle is a 5min drive for plenty of pubs and quirky little shops. But the local pub called the craven heifer was a nice quiet little country pub with excellent beer! The garden was well dog proofed so that was a big relief. The bath was AWESOME! It was so nice to relax in a big deep bath! We were also left a very nice bottle of wine when we arrived, a lovely touch!

Cons: The house itself was a little in need of some TLC. Things like the chairs were old and one nearly broke on my heavily pregnant wife when she sat on it. The log fire was out of order because of broken glass. It may be a small thing but it was a freezing weekend and it would have been nice to be warned that this was out of order, as we had brought wood with us ready to burn, but also because we do actualy always look for a log burner for our group get together when we are booking houses to stay at. The arger in the kitchen was also only for decoration. So the meal we had planned was much harder to cook with one small oven. The towels provided were also 'well worn' and could do with replacing. So I would suggest bringing your own.

Pros: Beautiful property in a beautiful location for the perfect family xmas wknd away

Nice stay

Pros: Very Spacious lot of room and places to store everything 3 car parking spaces Bottle of wine was nice touch- thankyou! Had all crockery cutlery etc, tables, lounges chairs and sofas to sit on The utility room was really good for wet clothes, boots etc! And washers/dryers Has everything u need for a comfortable stay Great communication from the host- we unfortunately had a power cut in the area and she passed on the messages from the electricity company which was really nice to do to keep us informed -thankyou! Jacuzzi bath! :)

Cons: Only very small things - the kettle leaked unfortunately when you poured it The heating wasn’t easy to fathom out but when we got it on it did heat the property Wi-Fi signal in the property is poor unfortunately and could do with boosters to be able to be used in every room

Pros: we had a fab time here, our only stipulation is that we didn't book long enough, lovely village location, spacious, warm on arrival, very well equipped. Just what we needed.

Cons: Nothing I didn't really like. Was suitable for what was required

Pros: Very pretty accommodation, in a stunning location. Everything you need for a self catering stay.

Cons: The pullout sofa bed was inadequate for 2 people, OK for children but not adults,. Bedding on that particular bed was stained which you could see as you had to make the bed up

Wonderful idyllic Yorkshire Dales Break

Pros: A lovely clean property with great facilities in a wonderful location with stunning views. Communications from owner 1st class. Highly recommended
