spotless, comfortable, full of thoughtful touches and the host was wonderfully accommodating
Pros: We had such an excellent weekend! The property was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hot tub was easy to heat and so enjoyable after a day of exploring the beautiful local walks right from the doorstep. It was so helpful that the host put together a guide for us to follow! We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the brownies, milk and marshmallows left for us, as well as the lovely birthday banner that made the stay feel extra special. The host was incredibly accommodating and easy to communicate with.. we couldnβt have asked for a better experience

Weekend break to chill
Pros: There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. You do have a wifi connection, so if you want to watch a movie or listen to music, bring a device with you as there is no tv. We enjoyed our stay here it was nice and chilled. We visited Hebden Bridge and Todmorden lovely little places.
Cons: Not so private when getting in and out of the hot tub and the smoke from the wood burner tends to fill the shepherd's hut so you can't really leave the door or window open.

A delightful experience!
Pros: Such a cute little shepherds hut with everything we needed. We loved the hot tub & toasting marshmallows on the fire. It was a weekend away for my girlfriendβs birthday & I had asked for a bottle of fizz & some birthday decorations which were provided with much aplomb! Everything about the property was beautiful & we were blessed with gorgeous weather so it was an amazing weekend from start to finish!
Cons: Nothing. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Pros: We had a fantastic weekend staying in the shepherd's hut. It is located in beautiful countryside but well signposted and walkable to Todmorden and Hebden. We had no problem getting a taxi back after a couple of drinks in Todmorden! The hut itself is gorgeous - we have stayed in a few shepherd's huts and this is by far the best in terms of amenities and it has a lovely view. We loved the hot tub and there was everything you need. I also loved the fact they put balloons out for my birthday. Communication with Neil was brilliant and he was very kind and accommodating. It was so good that I rebooked the whole site for next year with my friends before I'd even left! Once again thanks so much and we'll definitely be back!

Perfect for a romantic getaway!
Pros: This place feels like a home away from home after our second visit here. Itβs clean and relaxing and perfect for a stress free few nights away. The hot tub is spacious and all the other facilities are perfect! Cannot fault this place at all and we will sure be returning, yet again!

A peaceful nature getaway with just a touch more privacy needed for a perfect stay.
Pros: I really appreciated how clean and cosy the room was, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, perfect for a restful stay. It was also super convenient being able to order Uber Eats right to the door. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, collecting the wood and lighting the fire to heat it made the experience feel authentic and special. Every moment felt like a treat. I also loved waking up to the sounds of nature, birds singing, no traffic noise, just pure peace and quiet.
Cons: The only downside for me was the lack of privacy in certain areas. One of the nearby houses has two windows facing directly towards the hut, which means they can easily see inside, especially when the lights are on. To avoid this, you have to close the curtains at night, but doing so means missing out on the stunning views of the sky, stars, and surrounding mountains. It somewhat takes away from the immersive nature experience and makes the space feel a bit enclosed, almost like being in a basement. It also felt like the hot tub and fire pit area were visible from that house, which made me slightly uncomfortable at times. Aside from that, everything else was perfect and the overall stay was truly enjoyable.
