3 bedroom- Sleeps 6-Greave Farm Todmorden Cottage

Stunning views, very cosy, great base to explore stunning area, lovely hosts.

Pros: Stunning location, the cottage was old but cosy and the views are stunning. Lots of great walks from the doorstep. The hosts were really helpful when I contacted them with a wifi query. Central heating was fab- really powerful and kept us cosy on the cold evenings (we were there in Feb). Kitchen was really well equipped, there were books, board games and DVDs.

Cons: Be careful of giant pot holes on roads leading up[ to property (obviously not the owners fault, just to warn people)- it's fine, we just took it slow and I warned my husband who was coming later in the dark. Very minor but it was listed as providing toiletries, and there was only a half-used toothpaste in a drawer but nothing else. We did have our own so it wasn't an issue, but might be worth flagging if you were coming assuming there would be some there.

Fantastic experience!

Pros: Wonderful atmosphere, comfortable with friendly, helpful owners. Country vibe but close to Todmorden. Defini tely recommend and we would come back to explore the area more. 100% pleased with our stay.

A comfortable stay in a traditional Pennine farmhouse with far reaching views

Pros: The comfort, the views, the space, we liked everything, a little gem!

Cons: There was no information folder in the cottage, eg for rubbish/recycling, local attractions, walks, history of property, maps of local area etc.

Serene, affordable, a piece of peace

Pros: The location was stunning and if you really want a quiet retreat this is a gorgeous and quiet spot.

Cons: The only negative was that I was under the impression that I have paid for my 2 dogs with booking.com, but then had to pay an extra £50. This lack of communication needs to addressed by booking.com during the booking process as it is unfair to feel you have been charged twice

Private house and garden, on a quiet farm track. Nature lovers paradise.

Pros: We enjoyed exploring the house and garden. Loved watching the lambs sheep and geese in the adjacent fields during the daylight hours and bats and owls during the evenings. Lots of interesting things to see on the hillside beyond the garden. Climbed up to the pike, lovely views from up there. The house was lovely and peaceful, and the large kitchen table was extremely handy. A lovely warm house too. We would love to return next time we visit todmorden.

Cons: we enjoyed our whole stay and would return x

Pros: Justin was very helpful & gave some great advice on the location etc. The house is located in a most beautiful area in Yorkshire - remote enough to relax & enjoy countryside while still accessible to the towns of Todmorden & Hebden Bridge.

Great location for a family break

Pros: Great location - very cosy - lovely garden for the children to play hide and seek - owner very attentive and couldn't do enough for us

Nice and relaxing place and the house is cozy and comfortable

Pros: Loved pretty much everything about this property it was an amazing unique characteristic place to stay very warm and comfortable and communication with host was great I would highly recommend a stay here we had a fantastic time and loved the property and it’s fantastic furniture wow what a holiday thank you so much, Nicola and family

Cons: The shower … looked lovely and was lovely when it worked but it often didn’t or ran out of warm water by the time the fourth person got in lol so had to have a couple of sink washes but it didn’t spoil the holiday at all. Also the road leading up isn’t good at all but I accept you can’t have everything perfect so we just took our time and it was worth the drive up to get to the stunning property
