1 The Old Corn Mill

Pros: Great location, clean place, quiet area, basically everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Yorkshire.

Cons: We had a small issue with the lockbox as the code provided in the booking was not correct, but once we called the property manager we got the right code. Another thing was the WiFi connection was pretty bad, but maybe that's something to expect from a remote location (although we're in 2025).

Perfect place for a relaxed get away. We would recommend.

Pros: Flat was well equipped and located. Perfect for two people. The views were great and we especially liked being able to leave the car behind and go on some lovely walks straight from the flat.

Cons: May be useful to re-check flat before next guest if there has been a gap. We found coffee was hardened and a little dusty in some places. SatNav took us via single lane track but fortunately we learnt if went right out of the gate towards Kettlewoth and then West Burton we avoided it!

Lovely stay in the Dales

Pros: Superb building and location. The views and the village where the property is located look as if straight out of a painting. The property is very well laid out in a light two-floor apartment which is prettily decorated, and comfortable. The style marries traditional comfort and modern touches. The bedrooms upstairs are airy. The bathroom is modern, with a great shower. Downstairs the kitchen is well furnished and the lounge is very cosy. We enjoyed the small touches which made our arrival very smooth, and entertained our family (chest full of games).

Cons: Nothing worth highlighting.

Great little flat, extremely clean!

Pros: Well equipped with quality fixtures and fittings, clean, quality bed linen, comfy, rural views.

Cons: Directions to property incorrect on booking.com and details in message not helpful as far end of the village could be one of 4 roads. Lights needed both front and back outside as arriving late it was very difficult. Parking description needs to be clearer as parking involves walking in the road to the property. Outside of building needs cleaning, grass, steps outside of windows. Dishwasher would be a bonus!

Pros: Very well equipped apartment and comfortable. Really appreciated all the local maps and information pack.
