Nice to stay for one night, but for me, as im not a fellwalker, i like more to wander around

Pros: Nice views, ample parking, decent sized well decorated rooom

Cons: Breakfast could be better, sausages undercooked, tinned mushrooms, bacon was very salty. Evening meal was OK but not great and would have preferred to eat in the restaurant and table was small for four people. The big room by the bar lacks something, the Rest of the place is comfy and welcoming, this area just looks unfinished and was quite cold as there are no curtains on the windows

Great base to come back to from our wintry walks

Pros: Rural location with very pleasing views. Breakfast options are also pleasing and it was served with a smile.

Cons: Bathroom in our room was starting to look tired. Everything worked and was super clean though.

Photos shows one day to the next

Pros: Breakfast was ok and location was very picturesque and scenic, good view from room. Could have done with a lift as 3flights of stairs not good at age 80.

Cons: Explained above
