Pros: Nice room with big bed Convenient if arriving by train as station just across the road Easy access to canal path

Cons: Windows should be triple glazed as hotel on a main road. Dressing room lamp not working. Bathroom tap and wc press were both loose Had to remind breakfast staff that we were waiting a while, and someone else who arrived at breakfast after us was served before us.

Lovely Hotel in a Perfect Location.

Pros: Perfect location. 10minute stroll along the canal into town. Despite being on a main road it was quiet at night. Staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel is looked after and has a lovely lounge to relax in. Food was excellent - we had dinner the first night. Very reasonable. Breakfast was plentiful with good choices. Parking available before and after check in.

Cons: If I had to say something negative : Bedrooms are too hot at night. The background music was a bit too loud.

Pros: Nice seating area and bar/restaurant- we had dinner and the food was delicious. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and freshly cooked english breakfast option. Lovely location right next to the canal- a nice walk into town.

Pros: Excellent stay Very good for price Breakfast was excellent apart from the sausage Which was of poor quality But that is quite the norm at a lot of hotels Can’t understand why hotels can’t seem to find a reasonable local sausage Rather than one that the local chip shop would sell

Good place to stay , close to train station

Pros: Lovely hotel, close to railway . Good food and great choice for breakfast . Recommend as place to stay in Skipton .

Pros: The hotel was very warm, which made it very comfortable to stay in especially in February! The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Parking was great and decor beautiful.

Pros: The hotel is a short walk from the town centre and has plenty of car park space. The staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. Rated as an AA 3 star hotel it punches above this rating.

Cons: We were ok but the hotel does wedding receptions so not always the quiet weekend you may be hoping for. For me they would do better to sell the hotel as the quiet romantic break, focusing on the food and accomodation. The bar and restaurant are warm and cosy and better suited for couples.

Lovely overnight stop

Pros: Lovely room, clean & very comfy, very close to train station which was perfect for us. Lovely restaurant on site where we ate dinner, & the breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Friendly professional staff. Would stay again

Cons: Traffic noise through window (our room overlooked the road & train station) might bother some people but not us.

Was a pleasant one night stay and most of the staff were friendly.

Pros: Excellent location for walking along the canal towpath into Skipton town centre.

Cons: The room we stayed in had a minuscule bathroom, very basic, shower, toilet was butted up in between the shower and hand basin.
