A lovely pub with roomz

Pros: The room was very comfortable, the food and beer are great and the staff are welcoming. This was our second stay and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent especially the pastries!! The menu for dinner was great too- most try the crumble! Lovely friendly staff. Beautiful location great for walks with the dog

One night is not enough.

Pros: Cosy, warm, inviting and peaceful. Very comfortable bed and well appointed bedroom/bathroom with high spec finish. A nice touch was a mini fridge with complimentary soft drinks and milk. The food was top notch including breakfast. The bakery sells yummy treats made in-house. All staff including the hosts were welcoming and friendly. Dog friendly bar.

A great short break

Pros: Great spot for a short break and hiking. Lovely place. Room was comfortable and spacious and a good shower. Breakfasts were excellent! Parties from the in house bakery and choice of continental or cooked breakfasts. We dined in on both nights. Burger night was great and good value and then steak and fish pie the following night. Excellent! Staff were really friendly and helpful with special mention to Dave. We’d definitely go there again.

Cons: Only the weather could have been better but we had no control of that and we knew what was forecast! It didn’t stop us from our hike though!

All round, excellent.

Pub and a patisserie in Yorkshire!

Pros: A lovely, welcoming spot - the staff were excellent, the breakfast was delicious and the room was cosy. A very dog friendly spot too! We chose to have dinner in the pub on both nights, taking advantage of the burger and steak nights they had on! Oh, and there's an on site patisserie which we didn't appreciate but most definitely took advantage of

Cons: Our room was on the smaller side but it was exceptional value with the staff, food and location. The only thing we should have mentioned was that the windows didn't open which meant it was quite warm in the room!

Warm and friendly place to stay and eat in Austwick

Pros: Lovely, cosy pub in beautiful village. Good reasonably priced food. Bakery on site with great croissants, etc!

Excellent location for a little stay in Yorkshire.

Pros: It was exceptional. Dave who was in charge was very informative about everything including fire escape routes, assembly points and all the other facilities. He has been working very hard to make sure everyone got good service. Our room with good view was big, comfortable and clean. Good value for money. We would highly recommend.

Cons: We've had no complaints.
