Weekend break in York

Pros: Comfortable apartment with everything we needed provided for our stay The location to the city was perfect too, just a few minutes walk away from the Minster, restaurants and shops. Free car parking was the icing on the cake.

Cons: The only very small negative was the water pressure in the shower.

Bootham House stay.

Pros: Everything. Couldn't fault apartment and facilities were brilliant. Parking was also a lovely bonus and location was second to none.

Cons: Nothing.

Amazing! Of the 4-5 places we stayed in England, this one was the best.

Pros: Top floor with loads of natural light from big skylights that open at the push of a button. While there is no visa view out a large window, the back window area looks out into a garden and is wonderful. Kitchen is fully stocked. And the host provided us with a large fantastic gift hamper featuring local (or nearly local) products. We couldn't have asked for a better location. Super easy to walk to everywhere in York that we wanted to visit AND was off route from the major large hotels.

Cons: Parking in back is a little tight. If you have a van, you may want to scout a spot before driving on in. Anyone with kids should be aware that the flat is carpeted with a light carpet. We kept our shoes off but might be more difficult to keep clean in the winter months.

Estancia perfecta
