The Grand at Dukes Townhouse

Just such a beautiful place, so near to the city but lovely and quite area

Pros: It’s a gorgeous property very convenient, everything you’d want from an apartment in York, we loved it

Pros: Absolutely stunning property and the welcome hamper was such a lovely touch ! We asked if we could leave our luggage earlier as we was very tired, have to say the staff was amazing when I later needed some help Would definitely stay again in the future!

Cons: It was very cold especially in the bedroom I thought it would heat up after a couple of days but unfortunately it didn't and after the 4th day I asked for help and straight away the young man and woman brought us a heater which was really appreciated it didn't spoil our stay and we shall be back again soon

Pros: Well equipped and thoughtfully decorated and styled.

Pros: First impressions are always key. The Grand at Dukes Townhouse did not disappoint. This is a very presentable property for two, well located for all the sights and we'd have no hesitation in staying there again.

Cons: Parking is an issue, but not an insurmountable one

Excellent Apartment in fantastic location

Pros: The apartment is beautiful near to everything but far enough away for quieter nights. It was particularly cold but Stays York provided a tower heater which was fantastic. Wouldn't definitely stay again.

Cons: Minor gripe the wooden floors and creaky entrance staircase meant we were woken at 1.30am by guests staying in apartment above us. Perhaps consideration notice to others left in apartment might be helpful .

Superb apartment

Pros: Fabulous, quiet location to explore the centre of York. Can't fault the flat, amazing shower and all the appliances are top quality. The welcome pack was fabulous, we would definitely stay again.

Cons: No recycling! If you were unlucky enough to have inconsiderate/loud people in the next flat up you would probably be disturbed. Only an issue when people are coming back from a night out though!

Super duper apartment

Pros: Fabulous apartment. Lovely surprise to arrive and find they had a Christmas tree on the apartment. Very comfortable and we felt very at home. There was a welcome pack too

Cons: Lovely touch to leave a welcome pack but a pint of milk in the fridge would have been great. Also only left 2 dishwasher tablets which seemed a bit mean as we were there Friday to Tuesday. Softer pillows would be appreciated too.

The perfect gateway to enjoy the city

Pros: The apartment is stunning , the hosts have thought of everything you might need for your stay and it’s so comfortable. You have everything on your doorstep, just 5 mins from the Shambles .

Overall a great place to stay.

Pros: Great location. Excellent size for a couple staying. All facilities were of a high standard. Lovey decor.

Cons: Nothing really. Only point would be the lovely original sash and case windows were not very wind proof but the owner was exceptionally responsive and managed a quick fix.
