Kakra’s Place with free secure parking

Spacious well equipped 2 bedroom apartment, perfect for York city centre

Pros: Perfect location with secure gated parking. Check in was 3pm but we contacted host who was happy for us to park from 12pm which was really helpful. Lovely spacious flat with 2 large double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Kitchen had everything you need, plus great supply of teas/coffee’s along with breakfast cereals which was an added bonus. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Host very fast to respond to any questions. 2nd floor flat with lift access and all communal areas bright and clean. Approx 10 min walk from the Minster and centre of York. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Cons: Very little to fault here, so I’m being very picky. The TV in the master en suite bedroom did not work. Would be helpful to have an info pack with things like wifi code (had to contact host for this but answered straight away), operational info for things such as TV/heating and any other equipment, and a bit of local information for those not familiar to the area.

A great base for exploring York

Pros: Comfortable apartment , only a short walk into town with the added bonus of secure under cover parking

Cons: No complaints

Pros: We loved the fact that the car was in a gated underground car park, also there was everything everybody could ever want ie the water provided, all the various coffee options, milk, biscuits for a morning brew, the cereal’s. We have never stayed anywhere before with options like that such a great touch.

Cons: There wasn’t much not to like all I would say is it just needs a freshen up on paint and the main bathroom we couldn’t figure out the shower without us burning ourselves.

Perfect for a short stay in York.

Pros: Location was good about a 15/20 minute walk in to York. Parking was easy and secure. Facilities were excellent. Lots of thoughtful extra touches like milk, cereals, teabags and coffee. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need for a longer stay. We were going to an event at the Barbican so only stayed one night.

Cons: I didn't like the desks in the bedrooms as it made them feel a little overcrowded, however if you were using it for work it would be perfect. For a short stay it was excellent.

Brilliant. 15 minute walk to the centre of York

Pros: Large property. Biscuits, water and cereals available. All lovely touches. Excellent secure parking.

Fabulous york apartment

Pros: Very central for York centre, about an 8 minute walk. Spacious, clean, comfortable, 2 bathrooms and the parking space is an added bonus. Excellent communication and directions/instructions provided. Co-op shop nearby, although Kakra left essentials - milk, breakfast cereals, tea/coffee, bottles of water and a tasty treat as we were returning guests, which was extremely kind and thoughtful. This is our second stay and have booked again for next year! Thank you Kakra 😊

Perfect home from.home

Pros: Lovely clean super equipped apartment perfect for relaxing after a day out and about in York.Love the huge comfortable sofa and spacious rooms and having 2 bathrooms is great.We ordered a takeaway but all the mod cons as you would have at home so cooking would be no problem.Cereal and porridge available for breakfast and tea/coffee making so bring some milk and you are good to go for breakfast toaster also available. Safe secure allocated and spacious parking was a huge advantage.

Cons: Nothing we didn't like would stay again this is our 2nd stay.
