Fox Hill

Every small detail has been lovingly worked out and provided for your stay

Pros: A really lovely place to stay. From the moment you walk in you can feel the loving care and thought which has gone into making your stay a pleasant one. It's not often that I am unable to eat the whole breakfast (my favourite meal of the day) but the continental hamper was a luxurious treat that amply filled the gap for me and my wife. Fresh products, carefully prepared, elected and presented in the best way possible - Julie even provided it early for us as we needed to getting away

Cons: We would have liked to have stayed longer, didn't have time to explore the area and will definitely be back. Seriously there is absolutely no way that our hosts could have improved our experience

Pros: The accommodation was exceptional. Comfortable very clean and everything we needed for our stay. Julie and Mike so helpful and very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was marvellous, didn't need to eat rest of day. Can only recommend very highly.

Cons: There was nothing to complain about. Just not there long enough.

Exceptional retreat.

Pros: An exceptional stay from day of booking until time of leaving.. we couldn't have asked for more. Julie was a fantastic host and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was beautiful; Extremely clean and tidy. What made it even more special for me was all the little extras: On arrival we had a goody hamper filled with scones, butter and jam: crisps and nuts, cheese, grapes and crackers. We opened the fridge to milk and wine. Complimentary extras throughout the annexe.. Continental breakfast hamper..... What can I say.... Such a tasty, well thought out selection. Had a great night sleep on the large comfy bed. Fans for a hot night/ heater ,blankets and hot water bottle for the cold ones! All in all a superb night away.. will definitely be back next year. 😁

Cons: Nothing to dislike!!!!
