We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back.

Pros: It was ideally situated for us to stay at before our son’s wedding at Solberge Hall. Rob and the staff were really welcoming and helpful. Food was amazing and the rooms were comfortable and clean.

Cons: Nothing.

Excellent stay

Pros: Location was close to Northallerton in a luvly quaint village. Staff and owner were fab. We had a Suite room , this was fab. Big room with sofa.

Cons: Fixed menu for New Years Eve wasn't to our liking and expensive. We were hoping that it had some traditional home cooking available. This didn't take anything away from our stay, we really enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Excellent location, friendly staff. Lovely, open log fires in the pub downstairs. Very clean bathroom and modern fittings.

Cons: I think it would be good to have some shelving in the bathroom, for personal toiletries.

Excellent stay.

Pros: Little things can make all the difference. Had fresh milk in a flask, good breakfast, lovely bathroom and well decorated, quiet bedroom. I would happily stay again.

A beautifully traditional hotel with immaculate, comfortable rooms, exceptional food and freshly cooked breakfast, a war

Pros: From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt genuinely welcomed. The hotel is beautifully traditional, full of charm and thoughtful décor that immediately sets the tone for a relaxing stay. Rob and the team couldn’t have been more helpful or pleasant — nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms were beautiful, perfectly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. The food was absolutely delicious (and the wine even more so!), with perfectly kept beer adding to the experience. Breakfast the following morning was freshly cooked and equally delicious — the perfect start to the day. The hotel’s location was ideal for our trip to the Polar Express, making everything wonderfully easy. Although we only stayed for one night, it left a lasting impression — we’ll definitely be back.
