Low Gingerfield Farm B&B

Pros: The location was perfect. Very big room and ensuite. Lovely views over the countryside. Very friendly welcome and chats from Gill. We definitely hope to return in the summer time to see the owls and hopefully the bats.

Pros: Gill was amazing! Really attentive and kind. She couldn't do anymore! Amazing breakfast.. And suggestions on good walks around the area. The room felt like home.... Took a night for our little doggy to settle. But the next time she slept right through! We was a little worried as we had never taken her away before.. But she did amazing.. And that's because how much Gill made us feel. And how welcoming she was... We may have to return in November to see the nights sky!!

Cons: Nothing!

Excellent for a really friendly and relaxed stay, definitely recommended.

Pros: Fantastic warm and friendly welcome, excellent breakfasts and evening meals. Spacious and lovely warm room and very welcome cosy fire in the lounge. Very accommodating for dogs and excellent value for money.

Cons: Only a couple of very minor points: maybe a stronger reading light in bedroom and a slightly firmer bed.

Glorious and very festive this time of year

Pros: The host couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming, and the vibe and general atmosphere was absolutely lovely. The house is beautiful, the room spacious and the breakfast exceptional. We took a train from London, the bus from Darlington to Richmond and walked the mile or so uphill over fields to reach the B&B. A great place to go if you're a keen walker as there are lots of trails nearby and it's easy to use Richmond as a base for food and drink.

quiet, unrushed, laid back and welcoming...clean and the beds are sooooooooo comfy

Pros: The location was stunning and the farm animals ,pets were a joy to watch. Our host couldn't do enough to make our stay more welcoming...attentive without being over bearing, kind and polite.......nothing was an issue even when Thor, our mad staffy, tinkled on the floor with excitement before you knew it it was cleaned up without fuss....This is the B and B we all want to visit for some peace and quiet and an excellent friendly, homely atmosphere....oh and the Breakfast is sooo tasty!

Cons: there is nothing to improve, we were looking for some tranquillity and a friendly welcoming stay....Which we got....easy to find 2 minutes from Richmond Market...simply bliss

Wonderful town, wonderful house, wonderful hospitality.

Pros: Gillian had thought of everything we might need or want. It was the little things; the spare charger in the drawer, the plates and cutlery for if we ordered a takeaway, the wine glasses, etc etc. The rooms were also huge and spacious. We would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be going back.

Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Relaxing, comfortable, friendly.

Pros: Super quiet and convenient location, easy access, large comfortable bedroom with all needed facilities. Super hostess, very helpful and accommodating for our needs. Lovely delicious breakfast. Everything we needed to make our stay in beautiful Yorkshire a real treat.

Cons: there was nothing significant to mention here.

Pros: Spacious, rural charm, quiet and very welcoming, away from busy roads. Wonderful cooked breakfast. Knowledgeable host.
