Lovely stay but the bathroom needs a good clean

Pros: The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely but more than one piece of toast may have been nice.

Cons: The bathroom was dirty, and the shower had a lot of mould. The shower dripped non-stop.

Lovely little place

Pros: Really lovely place. It was very welcoming. Absolutely lovely and well stocked bar. Service was great. Breakfast was nice. Only wish we could have eaten at the restaurant because the menu sounded very nice as well. Also very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. I lost an ear phone and had to go searching under the bed and there was no dust to.speak.of. There was also a good selection of tea/coffee in the room, and all shampoos/soap/conditioner in the bathroom.

Cons: The rooms were quite small, and there was a fair amount of mould in the bathroom on the ceiling/in the shower.

A lovely little pub and eatery in beautifully Yorkshire Wolds, friendly staff with exceptional

Pros: The evening meal (Pan Fried Halibut) was possibly the best ever pub meals I have enjoyed, absolutely fabulous along with the creamy mash, giant prawns etc etc an absolute delight.

Cons: Nothing to dislike whatsoever

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Stapylton Arms.

Pros: The evening dining was superb with nice friendly helpful staff. The food we chose was the best a chef can conjure up; absolutely delicious. Breakfast was provided in a small dining area separate from the main restaurant, which was very cosy. The cooked breakfast which was very varied in terms of choice was nicely presented and also very tasty. Our room called Hedgehog had a very comfortable bed and provided warm accommodation; very pleasant.

Cons: The only drawback in the room was the small en-suite , which felt rather cramped when inside. But the shower was good and had plenty of hot water.

Lovely room in a peaceful location.

Pros: Quiet location & property. Room was clean & beautifully decorated. Breakfast was included & everything we needed. Staff were pleasant & helpful.

Cons: Room was a little small & being an old property the floor sloped but neither affected our stay.
