The Hideaway

The most amazing space.

Pros: It is the most beautiful hidden gem, it was comfortable and clean, easy instructions on how to access, it was just wonderful.

Welcoming, pretty & unique property. Just didn’t have long enough to enjoy it.

Pros: A welcoming unique property, cleverly designed and decorated with lovely lights and bunting. The owner has thought of everything to make it an enjoyable stay. We were lucky enough to have good weather on our arrival day and spent some time in the garden, which has a fantastic view. We hope to rebook again later on in the year.

Cons: Early checkout time….11:00 would have been better.

First Class

Pros: Ideal location for our purposes comfortable and clean. This was our 3rd stay at the property.

A beautiful place and would recommend to others. Would stay here again!!

Pros: Unique design, beautiful views, comfortable bed and a very quiet space to sleep and live in.

Cons: The garden needed some care. There was poo behind the table and chairs, and items like a net and rubber ring left on the hedges, could just have had a little sweep up and poo pick

Cosy base to explore the surrounding countryside

Pros: Check-in was smooth and the instructions were clear - reserved parking space was clearly marked. Everything we could have wanted was available, and the host was extremely responsive to communications, even early on a Sunday morning, when we needed her help. Didn't get a chance to use the garden, as we were there on a dull, damp, day in December, but I can imagine it's lovely on a nicer day.

Cons: When you are 6 foot tall, you have to watch out for the beams - but you get used to it. For a couple, the person at the far side of the bed really does have a limited space to move around in (height-wise).

Cozy retreat

Pros: Nice place for a weekend away. Very clean, and complimentary tea and coffee provided. I think it would be better to stay in summer, so as to enjoy the private garden.

Cons: Could be difficult for people who are less steady on their feet to reach the top of the steps. This is mentioned in the listing, and we had no problem.

Ideal place for a couple of nights, host was easy to contact and just made it very enjoyable

Pros: Lovely quiet area Tania answered any questions promptly. Everything you could ask for in a short break. Ideal place if you like walking in the countryside plus local pub within a 10 minute walk. Tea and coffee facilities. Dared. Garden area is perfect to sit out when weather permits, chairs and table and a swing chair.

Cons: Not a problem for us but it is quite hilly and steps to property quite steep.

Hidden gem of a place

Pros: Perfect again for our stay. This was our 2nd stay at the property, location lovely so quiet and peaceful. Facilities spot on would not hesitate in staying again.

Was perfect for me

Pros: The room was comfortable and rustic and the bathroom great. A very quiet and private place

Cons: Roads were a challenge when you are not used to them! But not host’s responsibility
