Akroyd House - The Piece Hall Room

Would highly recommend to others, lovely touches and all amenities as decribed

Pros: Excellent location and access to local amenities. The room was superb, the chocolates were a nice touch, thank you.

Cons: En-suite was a bit cold - but that is nit picking - this property is beautiful.

Lovey stay

Pros: It was a lovely guest house with a lovely room. Brand new, very modern whilst keeping with the feel of the building. Within walking distance to the Piece Hall, shops, resturaunts and pubs.

Great stay, would definitely stay again if visiting Piece Hall.

Pros: Great room, extremely clean and comfortable with good amenities. Location was excellent - within walking distance of Piece Hall.

Cons: Only 2 parking spaces and wasn’t sure if we had to notify somebody so was a little worried about getting clamped - left a note on the car just incase and was fine!

Beautifully restored property in handy location

Pros: The immediate location wasn't particularly attractive but it was extemely handy for shopping and restaurants. Also surprisingly quiet. The entrance hall and our room (Piece Hall) were beautiful - especially the bathroom - and very comfortable, and the kitchen/snug well fitted out for cooking, washing, ironing and relaxing. Stairs down to it were a bit steep for my creaking knees but won't bother fitter folk.

Cons: In the absence of staff, staying here is an impersonal experience but certainly not unpleasant.

Spotlessly clean apartments near the town hall in Halifax

Pros: the whole place was absolutely spotless. it has obviously been recently decorated and fitted out. there is a communal kitchen downstairs which was thoughtfully kitted out with tea and coffee and even fresh milk and condiments

Cons: room was warm which may suit most people and had an excellent air con facility. I would have preferred to be able to open a window which i noticed the upstairs rooms had. So i’d book one of them in the future.
