Lovely cosy getaway for the whole family

Pros: The property was cost and warm and the beds were very comfortable! It had everything we needed for a family weekend away!

Pros: Our second stay here and once again we had a great time! Great amenities - Good shower, big bed, comfy sofa and a good range of cooking equipment. Great location - close to Settle, opposite the pub and great walks nearby.

Cons: Nothing- except a few spiders in the bathroom 🕷

The location and the house are both lovely, and we can highly recommend staying here.

Pros: We originally booked this accommodation for our team while they were working in the local area, aiming to save them the hassle of a long commute after their shifts. The team was very happy with their stay; the house was exactly what they needed. We especially appreciated how helpful and accommodating our host was, particularly when we needed to extend our dates at the last minute. Apart from the initial mixup, the cottage was a really lovely, warm and comfortable place to stay.

Pros: Location was perfect, very conveniently located near a wonderful, friendly pub. Lovely village.

Cons: Unfortunately there had been a mix up between owner and booking.com so the house was not prepared for our visit, and when we entered the property, it had not been cleaned, beds not changed, rubbish in bins etc. We had to go to pub and wait till nearly 9pm before we could come back and prepare a meal etc. However, the owner came over as soon as he could, and sorted it and we really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful cottage, and he made sure we would be compensated, so we were happy with the way the problem was sorted. I would definitely book the cottage again.

Pros: Well presented, clean and tidy. Great base for the yorkshire 3 peaks challenge.

Good stay and amazing location

Pros: Really furnished cottage in a wonderful location. Walking distance from Settle, with a good number of restaurants and shops and a lot of nice walking. The house it does have everything you need for your holiday. Other people complained for the parking but, there was a free parking just 2 minutes from the house.

Cons: WiFi works just downstairs. Almost impossible to connect from the bedroom and it often needs a restart. The stairs are a little bit steep, such is understandable being an old building, but maybe needs a railing on the side. It is slightly dangerous especially if you have little kids you need to be extra cautious.

Pros: we didnt have breakfast we cooked our own. the neighbours are such a lovely bunch even lent us maps. a very community spirit

Lovely base for walkers.

Pros: Super little house, well equipped, lovely place in a quant village with settle a two minute drive.

Cons: Parking was an issue, but that was the only .minor point.

Great trip away in Yorkshire

Pros: Location was great and the house had everything you needed.

Cons: We didn't go away to spend time using wi-fi or watching tv. However, in the evenings, we did use the Internet to book tables/trip's but the wi-fi kept dropping out. Not a major issue, but it's worth the host knowing as it might be to someone else.
