Above and beyond

Pros: The staff were very accomodating, i had travelled from Plymouth for a family funeral, they got me in my room early, sorted a taxi i was really greatful

One night at the Highfield

Pros: The room was excellent, thoroughly cleaned, and extremely spacious. The receptionist was friendly on arrival.

Cons: There wasn't always someone on the reception desk to answer questions about the hotel's leisure facilities, dining arrangements, and the surrounding area. As this was my first visit, I felt a little lost.

Comfortable, clean and enjoyable with the flexibility you only find in a non chain establishment

Pros: Very clean and had leisure facilities which were good, clean and accessible

Cons: Property was a little dated and would have benefited from some additional things like more shampoo and soaps in the rooms. However overall our stay was excellent, the hotel was really nice, the ambience was really good and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms very spacious and very clean. We would absolutely stay again

Pros: Excellent location for what we needed, room is spacious and not too cozy. Excellent facilities, close to all amenities. Pub served excellent food and reasonable priced

Perfect place for a short stay and great quality for the price. Will book again!

Pros: The room was very large. Dated but nice and clean. The bed was comfy and the little sofa was a nice extra. The water was hot and had good pressure for the shower. Extra tea bags, coffee and milk were available in reception without needing to ask.

Cons: We had to wait for someone to come to the desk and the number to call didn't work. We couldn't get any wifi connection but the 4g signal was good. very small TV
