Great family retreat hosted by the Boat House

Pros: We enjoyed an exceptionally good stay for a long weekend. The apartment was truly amazing. The comms from host was great including a informative video guide to the property. Best night's sleep I've had on holiday...possibly ever. Thank you.

A wonderful 2 day stay in a stunning property.

Pros: Great communication from owner. Video of instructions helpful too. Beautifully presented property with everything you could need. Very picturesque by the canal and walkable to town. A well designed property which was perfect for us.

Cons: Heating system not programmed, explained as possibly temporary. Would have liked to return to instant warmth!

We had a comfortable break in a great location.

Pros: Handy location for canal walk and cathedral visit. Great fish and chip shop nearby. Apartment was fabulous, with great kitchen facilities.

Relaxed and enjoyable!

Pros: Location was perfect for getting into Ripon. Discovered nice walk along the river from Water Rat pub. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Met hosts who were friendly and helpful. Overall a perfect couple of days, thank you!

Pros: The accomodation was just perfect for our visit to Ripon. The position on the canal was beautiful and accessible to the city. Our hosts were very welcoming and provided us with an excellent introduction to the facilities.

Peaceful, secluded break.

Pros: The lovely location by the Ripon Canal. Very peaceful, private and secluced. The hosts were very welcoming. Parking was easy, although a short walk, it might have been a problem in the rain to unload the car. Ripon itself was only a 15 minute walk, past the impressive cathedral, (hence, diminuitive Ripon is a city) with shops and pubs so no need to use the car. A small chip shop nearby was highly recommended by a neighbouring guest that I spoke to.

Cons: Slight isssues with fixtures and fixings but not a problem and didn't spoil our stay.
