Walking distance to racecourse and city centre

Pros: Loved everything about this little house! Beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed and more. Nice location for a stroll into the city centre . Loved the decor and the photos on the walls were amazing. Met the owner who was just as lovely as her home and had left us a bottle of fizz to start the weekend, so kjnd and thoughtful.

Cons: There is nothing to dislike, it’s fabulous.

Pros: The location of this property is excellent, we have stayed in this location before so we knew exactly where it was. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything that we could ever need. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Good clean property. Ideal place to stay for a short stay. Able to use most of the property. Good communication with the owner. Easy walk to city centre.

Cons: No vanity mirrors in bedrooms. Has mirror on wardrobe door but not where dressing table area was so no plug sockets near mirrors to do hair etc.

Perfect cosy home

Pros: Really nice and cosy home. Very clean and well equipped. Not far away from the city centre.

Cons: In our group there were 2 couples. Unfortunately there is only one toilet bathroom. It was still a decent walk into town centre

Relaxing stay for family

Pros: Beautiful, clean and comfortable home - perfect for a small family. All kitchen amenities including condiments and coffee/ tea are available. We loved the biscuits- a nice touch by the owner. It’s a 20 minute easy walk to the city centre. Free parking is a bonus! Ideal stay to unwind after a long day of sightseeing.

Great place to stay for visiting York

Pros: Very clean, peaceful and comfortable. Very good location with all the necessary home comforts you could require. A great place to unwind after a busy day sightseeing.

Cons: If I have to think of something, it would probably be that I would have preferred curtains on the front bedroom window as opposed to roman blinds, as the light came through the sides waking me up earlier than I would have liked. This is not a criticism though as the property was perfect for our stay.
