Calling all Witches and Wizards

Pros: We’ve stayed in loads of places in York now, fancy hotels, apartments etc but this is one of best, the work that has gone into making this what it is, is amazing! If you’re ever staying in York and this is your type of thing I highly recommend you stay here. I spent most of my time admiring all the details that the owners have put into building and decorating the place.

Cons: Nothing!

Excellent weekend stay to visit York Christmas Market

Pros: Excellent property, very well thought out, lovely location for what we wanted

Clean and comfortable

Pros: There are two lock boxes on the wall It was very wet, cold and dark on arrival . did not specify which bow was in use.

Cons: Smell from the drains in the bathroom

If u get the chance to stay here take it u will love it

Pros: This place is intriguing filled with mystery & wonder , spells & potions Unique experience that will stay with us forever

Fabulously spooky stay

Pros: We really loved these apartments! The atmosphere is truly magical — you feel the enchantment from the very first moment. The interior is incredible, thoughtfully designed, and creates a unique, fairy-tale mood. This is not just a place to stay, but a real experience. Perfect for anyone looking for something unusual and unforgettable. We would happily return again ✨

Good themed property. An experience but not a picturesque area and no information on local amenities

Pros: Great themed house. Had issues with cooker not working but the owner really tried his best to fix. He was away I. Holiday so hard to keep trying to use third party. But he did want to fix it and really cared.

Cons: Could have had welcome pack to tell you about local takeaways, how’s to get into York, nearest pharmacy etc. there were two key locks so we didn’t know which o e to use. The email said there would be two keys but only one. Tv was not by Ariel so missed normal tv and had to stream, which at my age is not something I do. Stairs were very steep and small. Shower over bath so hard if you have disabilities. Had issues with cooker tripping electrics but the owner was good in sorting it out.

Pros: An amazing witches home .Details were brilliant .Cant fault it ,Lovely small touches hear and there :) .The girls were scared at times but thats what we wanted .

Magical stay

Pros: Everything. The house is amazing, the level of detail is perfect! We loved the motion sensor lights, they add to the magic feeling. Underfloor heating downstairs ✅️🥰 From the moment you step in, there is something new to see. We managed not to disturb Lucifer from his slumber 🫣👌 The bathroom was gorgeous, I loved the green tiles! The detail inside the house is just next level!

Cons: Only downside was there was no light inside the microwave when it was on. Made it difficult to use, especially in it's hidden location (which we thought was just a great touch)

Would stay again

Pros: 30 min walk into York city Center, an uber was £6. Very comfortable and clean.

Cons: Fabulous stove if you want to cook, but no washing bowl and you couldn’t wash pots in the stone sink.
