Pros: Location was amazing, lovely walk into York. Comfortable house. Friendly owners.

Cons: Nothing really, I personally think they have over done the welcome hamper, I would have preferred to have paid slightly less and got my own goodies. Milk, tea and coffee are really all you need.

Wonderful stay.

Pros: The house had everything you needed plus more. Location was great too. A lovely walk into town along the river, plus a bus stop just around the corner.

Cons: Nothing!!

Pros: The house is super comfortable and cozy, with excellent welcome treats. The hostel staff are extremely communicative and attentive throughout the stay. As a courtesy, they have a complete kit in the bathroom in case you need any emergency items, such as a toothbrush, deodorant, etc. 10 Stars!

Pros: I stayed in the main bedroom with the double bed and it was the most comfortable bed I’ve stayed in. The kitchen facilities were lovely! Sweet of them to leave a few things in the fridge for us

Cons: The show leaked slightly. Staying in the main bedroom / front room. It’s on the street so you get a bit of road noise.

Pros: It's an amazing place all round. Location is fantastic, house is clean, homely and comfortable and has everything you need, beyond your expectations. The host is brilliant. From the welcome package of goodies for us upon arrival to the extra treats and things one would need, nothing is forgotten. So much thought has gone into this place. We stayed for 2 weeks and the host arranged for a mid week clean (unusual from our travel experiences). The weather got warm and a new fan was dropped into us. WiFi is excellent, shower and hot water just brilliant. Would most definitely stay again 😃

Pros: Excellent accommodation, about a 15-minute walk along the river into the centre of York. Parking just around the corner, which is a big bonus. Everything you need is in the house, contact from the owner asking if everything is OK on arrival and after leaving plus a welcome pack. It's the attention to detail that makes the difference.

Lovely home from home :)

Pros: We loved this little house! It’s very conveniently located, just a short 15 min walk along the riverside from York city centre. The owner was lovely, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We were so pleased when we arrived after a long journey to find a variety of drinks, food, snacks and condiments, so we didn’t need to go straight back out to eat. Beds were super comfy. Lots of big, fluffy towels. Pretty much everything you’d need for a comfy home from home is provided, from toiletries and ear plugs, to board games and streaming TV. We even had slippers, eye masks and dressing gowns. We’ve stayed in loads of holiday homes over the past decade and this was one of the best for facilities.

Cons: We loved everything.

Clean comfortable accommodation close to city centre.

Pros: Great location and proximity to York centre. The property was very clean and the hosts were excellent and responsive to our needs.

Cons: Traffic noise.

Pros: Amazing little property with everything you could possibly think of being thought about by the hosts. Highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back if we are in York again! Xx

Beautiful well equipped house with lots of thoughtful touches for guests and only metres from a short riverside walk in

Pros: Beautifully decorated. Equipped with everything you could need for a short stay / holiday. Lots of lovely touches around the house. Amazing welcome gift of fizz, biscuits, bread, butter, bacon, milk - so thoughtful. The location was deceptively perfect in that it seemed a long way out when we drove there but it was actually only a short 15 minute walk to the city centre on a flat scenic riverside path metres from the house. street parking is dependent on time of day but there were spaces available close by.

Cons: Just sorry we didn’t get to try the decked area as it was a bit rainy during our stay. We loved everything.
