Holly Lodge 12 Hot Tub

Simply beautiful

Pros: Great location with tescos and shops near by yet felt nicely secluded once in the grounds of the lodge, lodge was beautiful and cosy with plenty of different lighting and heating to use, bathroom was a great size and had a lovely air bath and seperate shower, facilities were excellent throughout the whole lodge,was really clean, plenty of space outside also which would be great for summer months, jacuzzi overlooking the lake.

Cons: We couldnt figure how to use the oven due to the markings being faded and couldnt get it to warm up (probably a switch we hadn't pressed or something, and im sure if we had called the number for assistance they would have been happy to help, was our choice not to) we woke up very stiff in a morning, bed and pillows were lovely and soft (personal preference that we use firm and orthopedic) wouldnt stop us coming back though, would just bring our own pillows in future 😊

Pros: Great facilities and setting overlooking the lake. Not too far from York city centre.

A beautiful place, a lovely stay, the perfect place for relaxing

Pros: We loved the location. The cabin was really spacious. The outside deck was safe and secure for our dog to come in and out freely. The hot tub was lovely. The view of the lake was beautiful. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Cons: The water pressure in the shower was weak, however the water temperature was good and hot. Our personal preference is a firmer mattress, the bed was comfortable but just too soft for us.

Pros: Perfect location, the lodge was lovely clean and warm.

Pros: Lovely lodge. Warm, clean and a beautiful view of the lake. Great location for visiting York.

Pros: The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a 2 night getaway. The location was perfect, so quiet on a night and during the day. York was a 15 min taxi away costing £15. I'd highly recommend anyone thinking of booking, do it you won't be disappointed.

Pros: Its so was beautiful, felt right at home! Great service from Pete. Would definitely recommend and we will be back very soon!

Breathtakingly beautiful, perfect location, an incredible stay!

Pros: Amazing location and setting. Not far from York city centre. A 10 min walk to a few shops and pubs which was nice after we arrived late afternoon. Great information pack left by owner which told us everything we needed to know for our stay. The lodge was spotlessly clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub was a brilliant addition!

Cons: The bed wasn’t very comfortable but that’s due to personal preference, the spa bath wasn’t working unfortunately and the shower door got a bit stuck. These are all minor things and we would come back in a heartbeat!

Pros: I booked this as a Christmas present for my parents. They absolutely loved it. They loved the fact that the balcony was right on the lake - it felt very private. They thought it was beautiful.
