Peaceful retreat close to city centre

Pros: Loved the location. Close to the city and handy to have the supermarket nearby. Gorgeous peaceful lake and my daughter loved the swans and geese. The sauna and hot tub were fabulous!

Cons: The bed was a little hard for my liking

Pros: Peaceful, clean, friendly and you feel like your in the country not in centre of york

Cons: Could be better lit for walking and seeing lake when dark and pot holes are dangerous if walking once dark but these are just little things that dont take away from beauty of the place
