Beech Lodge 1 Hot Tub

Pros: The bed was comfy nice dining area and kitchen, lovely hot tub, great location, 10 minutes from york centre.

Cons: Tv was very outdated, shower was weak and mainly cold.

Pros: Lovely lodge overlooking the lake. Private hot tub. Lovely and warm for when we arrived, spacious. . Park and ride in walking distance to get into the centre of York easily.

Enjoyable well rested break in a quiet location and beautiful location.

Pros: How the lodge was presented with decor spotlessly clean and comfortable living for a short break in a beautiful location. Would definitely stay again. Bonus having the hot tub.

Cons: Nothing to dislike, we had all we needed for a short break.

Peaceful relaxing and comfortable

Pros: Spacious, clean and safe. We felt very at home and relaxed. Everyone slept well, the beds were very comfy. It’s a beautiful place

Cons: We liked everything about staying here. Although we don’t fish we found the environment peaceful and relaxing, everyone in the family liked it. The only problem we had is our hot tub filter didn’t seem to be working so after the first day or so we couldn’t use it, they did send someone out to repair but sadly it wasn’t until we were leaving.

A lovely comfortable, cosy, Christmas stay.

Pros: Great arrival- lodge open, heating on, fire on, Christmas tree. Man arrived in minutes to tell us everything we needed to know. Nice welcome pack and good information book. Hot tub ready. Great location near lake, easy access to York city. Beds very clean and comfortable.

Cons: No lighting outside at all, very dangerous near lake at night. Shower and bath temperamental but we managed. No oven trays. Soft furnishings tired.

Pros: Enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and how comfy the beds and sofas are.

Cons: Wifi could be better.

Lovely lodge and surrounding grounds, hot tub was great, really added to our time in York

Pros: I liked the fact the heaters were on for our arrival for a cold November day. Tea, coffee sachets etc, washing up items, were provided for arrival. Well equipped kitchen. It was lovely and warm considering it's a lodge in winter. Bed was very comfy. Lodge was nice and cosy with lovely view of lake. Would like to experience it in the summer.

Cons: TV was abit temperamental to work, but when you got it on it was fine.

Pros: The lodge was lovely gorgeous setting. Really enjoyed our stay.

Cons: The all night trains. I would book the Oak lodge next time.

Pros: Beautiful location,right beside a tranquil lake and lodges are far enough apart to have privacy ,private hot tub which is always a bonus ,the lady who greeted us on arrival was very friendly and helpful

Cons: The shower is in need of an upgrade ,and a couple of things need attention like broken cabinet handles some nice outdoor seating ,also had to pay £40 extra for early check in and late check out , Communication needs attention too ,none of my emails were answered and no check in details were sent so I had to call None of this detered from our stay ,just little things to bring it upto a 10

Unbelievable, breathtaking such a wonderful little retreat.

Pros: The property was in a fantastic location and such a beautiful area, clean, tidy and the fixings and fittings were to a very high standard. We have booked to visit again next year, as we was so happy with the stay.
